Need help with my laser point

I have a couple of problems that I can't figure out,

1- Everyday when I open my SignBlazer program it tries to run an update, but it is unable to connect. How do I change the settings for the update connection?

2- When I go to do a contour cut and I am jogging the cutter head, how do I get it to jog just a little bit? When I try to center the second registration mark the cutter head goes to far, how do I do like a half a jog?

To get SB to stop trying to update change the target in the shortcut from SB.exe to SBNT.exe. (Right click on the icon you use to start SignBlazer and select Properties)

Now by changing the target will it actually run a update or will it stop it from trying to run the update?
