Inlayed lettering - My daughters mirror frame

I thought I would show you a project I have been working on, I built a mirror frame and then base coated it leather red and then layed out the lettering.

NOTE:  Before someone says something about the lyrics of Pinks song being wrong, my daughter is 8 and at her school being called a rock star basically means you are cool.  I just elaberated on it with Pinks song as my daughter also likes it.

These pics are just of the frame however I will be inlaying my daughters face into the mirror itself and I will post the pics next week when I get it done!

So you stained the red leather, black?

No it is red leather paint not leather, I simply lettered it and then painted it again embedding the design into the frame.
