godstrong1 2 Posted July 3, 2007 WHEN I VECTORIZE A IMAGE IN INKSKAPE AND TRY TO TRACE IT BY GOING TO PATH AND TRACE BITMAP IT DOES NOT TRACE ALL THE IMAGE IT WILL TRACE THE MAIN PART BUT THERE ARE SOME PARTS IT DOESENT TRACE, EXAMPLE: I WAS TRYING TO TRACE A TIGGER IMAGE, IT TRACED IT BUTT IT DIDDENT TRACE HIS EYES. DOES ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO GET BETTER TRACED IMAGES.
kenimes 42 Posted July 3, 2007 I mess with the threshold settings and click update to try and get a better trace. The better the graphic, the better the trace without having to mess with the threshold settings.

kenimes 42 Posted July 5, 2007 Once you select your graphic, then click on Path, and then Trace Bitmap- there will be threshold settings in there.
