  1. Hello all, I have had a great deal of headaches with my new MH721 MK2 cutter. I literally just bought this thing last Thursday and received it yesterday (Monday). Here's the problem, when I go to cut one of my designs (or even an EPS offline for testing purposes) the cutter has a mind of it's own, plots the first one perfectly but the rest are history if you even want to call them that. It plots/cuts across the whole image area and sometimes even runs too far off the work space I have contacted USCutter today and talked to Joe, he was a very patient and respectful rep. He tried to get me running as best as he could. We came to the conclusion that it was probably on my end because some of my designs are not fully vectorized and still had some bitmap information embedded in them. I agreed since I am very new to Illustrator,Inkscape,ETC. along with the cutting programs (I am just getting into this whole vinyl thing and was very excited!). He connected through my computer remotely and we concluded that I had all the correct software/drivers and everything was in order. We ran some test plots of some simple text and shapes through the cutting softwares both SCAL Pro 3 and SBE and those seemed to be fine. I downloaded some vectors of name brand companies for testing purposes only and even those do not want to plot correctly, the cutter finishes the first one perfectly then moves to a random spot on the paper while dragging the pen and drawing complete nonsense. It even starts to mirror images on it's own and plot them horizontally instead of vertically and vice versa. I have searched these forums for probably a total of 30 hours to find my problem. I have tried everybody's suggestions and I'm still getting nowhere. Any greater insight would be appreciated, even if you can tell me if it's a motherboard issue and I have to return it. I just want/need an answer. Thank you for all the previous forum posts which have assisted me through my process of elimination!
