  1. I'm starting to think it is the oracal 651 Burgandy vinyl giving me the problem.

I tried everything to go about laying the app tape down squeegeing and still small bubbles.

When I put the Oracal 651 white down no problems at all.

Thats why I think it is the vinyl.

  2. Skeeter what kind of paper tape do you use, could you see threw it to line the grafic up.

I did lay the the decal on a flat surface then i put the transfer paper on.

I bow the transfer paper in the middle.

Wildgoose I squeegee the hell out of it the bubbles are smaller than a flea.

There isn't that many but still i don't like it.

Thanks i will try this do you buy this from US CUTTER

  5. Can someone tell me how to place a decal on a license without getting tiny bubbles.

I cleaned the plate with Isopropyl Alcohol wiped dry let it set.

Then i placed the decal where i want it then i put tape across the top of decal.

Pulled the backing off slow while holding the decal out the i started squeeging the decal slowly.

Then when i would start pulling the transfer tape off laying flat down on the plate pulling slow

I still would get little bubbles what am i doing wrong.

  6. Sorry i didn't get back to everybody.

    Cutting strip ok thank you.

But now having a new problem after cutting a good bit of decals with oracal 651

I took notice the vinyl was starting to lift in the corners like it wasn't cutting through the vinyl.

So i put a new blade in which i tried a cleancut blade still having problems.

The settings are force=10 speed= 35 acceleration=1 offset=+1 also now the vinyl isn't weeding good.

I also took notice the rounded curves in the O'S the D'S ISN'T CUTTING SHARP.

    What could that be.

    Donnie!

  7. Dakota!

I guess what i'm trying to say is if the blade was cutting to deep wouldn't it cut right threw the carrier sheet.

All i see is the score mark on the carrier sheet but it is not cutting threw.

It is cutting threw the vinyl but just scoring the carrier sheet but not threw it.

  9. Just recieved my graphtec ce6000-60 and cut a few heat transfer grafics

And i took notice ther is a small line on the cutting strip the length of material being cut

The cut weeds fine and it is not cutting threw the carrier sheet so is this normal.

I'm cutting fashion film from Stahls

    The settings are Force=10 offset=1 speed=35 acceleration=1

Any help i would appreciate Thank you Donnie

I just want to make sure i'm not damaging the cutting strip.

make the size border you need, then draw the size rectangle you need within the border and weld. type the words you need in the box, change the words to the same color as the box and border then punch out. You now have a one color sign...

Thanks a lot i did get it.

I want to thank all of you for your help.

    Thanks Donnie!

OK,  when you said 8x12 I immediately thought of 8' x 12' (feet, not inches) because my signs are routinely large and that is my frame of reference.

For a little sign like that one, just use an EXISTING item within the Graphics ClipArt Library of Vinyl Master. The BusStop no Parking would work, just change the text.

    You're welcome.

    Ok thank you very much.
