  1. Thanks , I seen i had linked a check-out window & replaced it  :)

John , the 3rd link is to the 2nd auction from USCutter . ( you buying another   ;) )

IF , anybody ever wants to compare prices on something on e-bay . click "advanced search " , then click the box on the next window that says "completed auctions only " & put in your keywwords . That will let you know what the end of auction prices are .

  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290251953371 is the auction i won . http://completed.shop.ebay.com/items/?_nkw=flexistarter+8.5&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=See-All-Categories&LH_Complete=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=200&_fpos=&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0 is the "advanced search in completed auctions "

the 2nd USCutter Flexi auction was http://cgi.ebay.com/FlexiStarter-Vinyl-Cutter-Flexi-Sign-Starter-8-5-w-Dgl_W0QQitemZ280254738467QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item280254738467&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A13&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318 .

I think after the weekend , there will be more Flexi starter 8.5 auctions from USCutter .

I think that software works with my Copam ;)

there is another seller that includes some clipart cd that winds up selling for a similiar price , but I know what GREAT support USCutter has

    regards , Rodger

  3. :- WOW, pneumonia too... at 50? Rest in Peace Bernie

I have that same question mark about alot of deaths labeled "complications of pneumonia " . Privacy & the family's respect is served that way when in some situations , that is not the most honest description . I don't know anything more about this situation , but i have seen that cause listed when it was alot different . Like Lincoln Park sings -" in the end it doesn't really matter " except he didn't get enough years to live ( I don't think anybody does ;)

  4. It was 1968, I was 9 years old.  My name was Davie Fink and I had pointy ears.  But boy was I cute.  I remember the Galloping Gourmet was softly giving cooking lessons in the background.

   ;):)

I always wanted to thank you for walking me to school after that.  But you promised you'd never kiss and tell!quickkiss.gif

& I never had .. until you asked in this thread ...David Fink ( a.k.a. Rodger )  ;D

  5. I would think they are deciding IF it's worth what it costs to sign up there . I have never heard of that site before this thread & there are probably MANY of those sites . Never hurts , but business people need to be wise spending  , even big companies . Besides , our word of mouth is much more outgoing & convincing IMHO .

  6. Now, I really like this as a continuation of one of the stories, cant' remember anymore which one...

"... but he was on a snotty hill & took a fall"

LOL , I had to read your reply twice & then realized ................ ;D

Sometimes it takes me days to figure out what I said and has proven to be quite expensive at times.

actually , I knew you would find it funny & MAYBE 5

  7. Any chance of USCutter selling Flexi 8.5 on E-Bay anytime soon ?

personally , i think it's a better decision to buy from USCutter even if I/you could save 1/2 price thru another co. on e-bay !!!

  8. I emailed them today, but haven't gotten a reply yet

I e-mailed them June 27 , 08 with no response yet  . The guy ( forgot the name ) doesn't wotk for Reece anymore . The sales rep now , Joe ... said they have nothing without a key , so no trial available . He gave me ASi ( Saintl.biz ) as the supplier of Flexi , but they only refer things to their resellers ( hence Reece Supply etc )

  9. http://www.signblazer.net/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=3e6575d903ad36ed6466a6be5a2b9fb5;

This is the SignBlazer forum's address ... i don't see any new posts about pricing . Did you read Moby's post & go to HIS site ? I don't think Moby has any ownership of SignBlazer  He seems like a reseller of software & he doesn't respond to e-mails etc . USCutter sold SignBlazer ALOT cheaper than Jerry could & probalbly still will if their deal to package it with new cutters continues .

    regards , Rodger    ;D

  10. Rodger you are right all the way around.  Jerry was great.  I always read his previous posts that he has on here in my extra time.  There is so much to be learned from him.

    Tracee

Hi Tracee , Jerry was as nice of a person as I've ever had contact with . His generosity & patience was immense . Like you say , ALOT can be learned from reading his posts . I'm impressed with the generosity & patience of the other SignBlazer people & especially Ken & BannerJohn here also . Everybody ( well except for 1 person ... ) here has a good attitude & tries to help instead of being inconsiderate . I think that person could change very easily if they lost the attitude  . I hope they change or leave

    regards , Rodger

  11. Roger,

Interesting theory I'll tell you why I say this:  I emailed flexi and asked if the lp would work with their software.  A lady named Linda emailed me back and seemed cold and just asked what type of cutter do you have?  I had stated what I had already in the previous email, so I provided the information once again.  I never heard from them again.  Not a yes or a no, nothing at all.

    Tracee

    Hi Tracee ,

I don't take credit for that theory as i read it on the still alive SignBlazer forum  :)  ( I think some know ALOT more than they can tell us  ;D ) . If I depended on making my living using SignBlazer , I would not be alarmed because i have InkScape & SignCut also . I would have a spare software , computer & cutter or back-up plan no matter what if i had an actual sign business . SignBlazer is free right now , so CutMe ( or anybody ) can't find a cheaper software to use & this forum has taken care of any support needed  . I like SignBlazer more than InkScape & hope things get going with SignBlazer again . Jerry put SignBlazer over the top with his help & knowedge & as BannerJohn preluded to when Jerry passed , is being missed more & more . Seems a shame the family couldn't or wouldn't keep " Jerry's Baby " .. not dormant . It could be that Jerry didn't have things in place legally so that the company could stay up & running without him , I know i have not taken care of what i should in case i expire . Probate is not easy .

    regards , Rodger

  12. Hi , You should wait some more & use the SignBlazer software . There is links ( free ) here in case you have to reload it . 1 user on the SignBlazer forum was guessing that the Flexi people might have bought SignBlazer ... HMMM . I have only used Inkscape with SignCut & SignBlazer & it seems it doesn't get any easier than SignBlazer as a design tool .

    regards , Rodger
