SCAL4P "not Responding"

[SCAL4P "not Responding"]

I am using SCAL4P on my PS with my US Cutter LaserII.  The software locks up on every other cut forcing me to restart my PC. Will act like it is going to cut, but progress bar just sits and I have to cancel the job. Then stops responding completely. I can restart system, do one cut. If I try to start another cut, same thing happens and forces restart. It took me 4-5 hours to complete a 2 hour max job last night. 

 

 I have also had problems with it stopping mid project- usually on a bigger, more intricate design.  PC is running Windows 10- not sure if that is part of problem or not?

[Cutter blade box is not moving]

I was in the middle of cutting and the black balde box stopped moving from side to side. I can see the black band still working. When I turned it off and back on the black band just keeps spinning like its looking to catch on the box.
