Thank you....I will try that...it's a pretty intracate logo though? I will try and see what happens!
  3. Okay...so I posted this in the Flexi board and didn't get much response, so I will post here and see if I get more feedback. I appreciate the suggestion of getting the Training CD and I will do that, but I need to try and figure this thing out by the end of tomorrow so that I can make some signage for my car. Okay...so I am TOTALLY new to this thing, my ex bought a plotter and it came with Flexi and Artcut...we knew right away that Artcut was out. We have NO Books on either program, they came with the plotter and everything that came with it. There aren't any instructional manuals that I can read (the one for Artcut is in chinese)...so here's my problem.... I am desperately trying to figure out how to "clean up" the image once I trace it? I get my image into flexi and trace it out no problem (well I guess somewhat of a problem cause I am here) but I don't know how to "clean" the lines? It's a really curvy design and I've tried messing with all the little commands when tracing it and they result in varying levels of "badness" but how do I clean it up so that there aren't any "notches" in my design and it cuts smooth? PLEASE I am desperate to figure this thing out...yes he's my ex yes I am helping him out with this because it benefits my business as well as his! Thanks in advance for any guidance! Raquel

  5. Hello, my name is Raquel, I have a new plotter it's a Rabbit HX720??? It came with ArtCut6 and I am finding that this is just horrible. I have 3 questions... #1 The general concensus on here seems to be to oust ArtCut...but what do you use in it's place? I need something that not only will help me design the graphics and I can upload exsisting designs into, but something that will communicate with my cutter? I have seen that you can use Corel...but that seems to be only to "create" and seen other names flown out there like SignBlazer, SignCut, Inkscape, and Flexipro...I am soooooo sooo confused! #2 If I am stuck with ArtCut...how in gods name do I get it to accept my scanned graphic without making it look like it got run over? My graphic (before it's imported into ArtCut) looks just fine, but when I pull it into ArtCut it's all choppy and icky looking? HELP!!!! #3 If I do indeed need a new program or a set of them is there someone or someones who can help to navigate my directional path and point me to the thing/things that I need in order to start cutting some vinyl and making it look nice? THANKS in advance for all of your help!! Raquel
