  1. Would 751 be a better choice for window decals...Say 6x6  I've been using 651 but the few times I've used 751 is so much better.  I was thinking charging 6 bucks a decal.

I need to make up a pretty big batch for an event I'm going to and I know I will sell every single one I bring.  I want to leave a good impression on the group I'm selling to as well.

    Thanks Folks!

    Joe

  2. Thanks Bob, I've been cutting my own glass then sanding and beveling them on my 6" belt sander. I'm also able to half-round the corners.

Also Thanks to all forum members for your responses.

    How thick is it?

  3. I received my 3 blade holders today, and didn't see any problems with them.. The caps screwed on the threads fine..Threads in caps looked fine.. I set each blade holder up to cut with a new blade and cut a large square as well as my cutter test of small square and triangle.. They all cut fine... No problems here.  Do any of the others that ordered have problems with the blade holders?  Mine were shipped from Washington store.

Well, with my luck this does not surprise me one bit....LOL

  4. In Photoshop there used to be a filter called "Stamp". It will give you something like this.

You can get more or less detail by tweaking the settings. Google "Photoshop Stamp Filter" and you will find information on it.

    JACKPOT

    Worked pretty good I think

  5. Mine were shipped yesterday..  I hope they don't look like that...  You should complain to UScutter,, Mine are coming from Washington...Is that where yours came from?    UScutter should look at these before they ship them.. Are yours all like that?

Mine came from Tenn.  And yes, the 2 that I got look bad!  I know I won't put them in my machine.  One actually rattles...LOL  like the bearing is all sloppy.

  6. Is it the machined parts, or bearings?  I thought about those--but tight tolerances and good bearings by OEM may offer superior performance.

Both...OMG, the threads for the bottom cap are hideous...The cap screws on and when tight is on an angle..Yea, thats not gonna work.  If you look in the cap you can see the hole for the blade is even off center.  I'm tempted to send them back but I'm sure the replacements are just as bad.  I will say the 2 I got off ebay a few months ago are 110% better!!  I mean the machinist that did these was blind in one eye and could not see out of the other!!!

I'll be interested about the others who get them

  7. What about inverting the image so the black is the open spots and the inner pieces are the solids at least in the mountain or flames or whatever that lower stuff is supposed to represent?

Or whatever that lower stuff is...LMFAO!!!

OMG I spit coffee all over the place...HAHAHAHAHAHA  I'll try your option goose

    RIGHT!

Sublimation is an option.  She wants light color or white shirts.  She's young and proud of her artwork.  I did one for her that KILLS this but she already had this approved by "The Board"

  8. Customer wants this on a t shirt.  Been playing with it in Illustrator for hours and cat get it to play well with HTV.  Darn lines are too fine and skinny.

Maybe I do it in Sublimation?  She's hung up on using this (her) design.  I redid it but she wants this....Ughhhhhh

Any thoughts on how to fatten it up for HTV?

And yes, this is the Original she sent!!
