Started over, followed the steps exactly. My driver is installed, my ports are lined on com3, my cutter is running on com3, SCAL is set on com3, still nothing, no connection at all. I am at a loss right now. i cant get anything to work at all. The keyspan was supposed to solve my problems! what am i missing here?

And now my SCAL program keeps freezing, not responding, and forcing shut down. Im in a struggle right now.

install the correct driver? as in the setup disc that came with the keyspan?

I have had my MH-28 for a week now, and although it has been doing great for the most part, every once in awhile it decides to cut things all crazy. I pull up a image that i have cut before, and it starts cutting, but then starts overlapping all my lines, cutting them on top of each other, and then cutting my square outline straight over everything else. ill turn off, reset, and maybe it will screw up again, or maybe it will work perfect, but it is unpredicable, and i am wasting a huge amount of vinyl taking chances and crossing my fingers that it will complete my vinyl correctly. Any tips and suggestions on how to make this never happen again would be great. This morning i cut a 20in by 36in sign....perfect. then turned it off, came back to it a little later, opened a design i had cut before, and it messed it all up, tried again, still messed it up. im at a loss. Thank you I am using SCAL Pro 3, cutting vinyl, oracal 631
