    I've just found out on a large text cut i created,for example 6" tall letters x 50" long(Nor Cal Off Roaders), Scalp wont recognize the weeding cuts i add in the weeding feature, Is this a common thing or a software issue.It cuts them when i do a smaller design but not this size... Thank you everyone

    I know im shooting in the dark on this , but is there anything out there that is similar to this or is the font. its for a friend.I know the original is Copyrighted of course.

    It wasnt really a matter of  overlooking something,but  if you must know lol :ph34r:  I wasnt paying attention that when i was designing the text in scalps,you see it as left to right.And when it was cutting it goes right to left. So when i made the text 6", i wasnt thinking that the 6"  was for the caps N,C,O,R letters ("Nor Cal Off Roaders")  only and i wasnt paying attention that the lower case font was 4" . So when it started cutting , the first letter i seen was lower case at 4" and i had 6" in my head and not realizing the first letter cut was the last lol , So everytime i seen the dang 4" letter being cut, and not the 6" i would cancel the process and redo the whole thing thinking i was doing something wrong. Im not going to say how many times i did this lol, but lets just say it wont happen again. I had the biggest Blonde Moment in my life . Im so glad this was my free roll i got from 3m.. One of joys for beeing a newbie still.. Today you can have a laugh on me guys.. Enjoy your day and thanks .Primal ;D

    I created a Text in scalp3 and when i create my text for example 50" long and make it 6"H and i made sure its not scaled so it will be what i want> when i send to cutter the font is beig cut actually smaller? I cannot figure this out why its doing it and there has been no issues at all when ive done large text cuts before... I havent changed anything that ive done before..I have a bunch of jobs to do and it just wont work normal...Please help if you can..No settings etc have been changed in the software or cutter titan2,its been working perfect till today..  Thank you

    Just wanted to say hi to everyone.Ive been in the group for just about 2 months or so and i kept forgetting to say hello on here, I just got into the vinyl work 3 months ago and love it , its just a hobby ,My primary hobby is photography and i love it ,Im actually disabled from a job injury back in 2004 and been trying to keep myself busy with anything i can from going nuts, so i found this ..If you want to see my website here you go.Im self taught and im learning more everday..     Ive been asked to see if i can do this ? since im still new to alot of things still with vinyl i havent done this yet to know the answer, is this as a simple straight cut with the angled edges or is there a little more involved due to the body curve over the fender and how would i measure for this if its not just a straight cut etc? Thank you All for the help or advice....

    Im not sure if this helpful or not since im still in the learning process but I tried looking for this and couldnt find anything. What i would try is putting the image in photoshop etc and cropping the image just to show the bike, print it,trace all the lines with a good marker and scan into photoshop etc and take out all the color and vector magic it and see how that works. Or try to erase the colors in the bike in photoshop and save the image for vector magic etc and see what happens.Sorry i cant be more help on this .Just trying my best in the forum..

    Thank you clhyer,Wildgoose,Skarecrow,Im using Ai cs6.And skarecrow you nailed it  and i didnt know that was going on,not sure what i did lol but all my other art work has had no issues if they had that in there as well when its cut.All cuts have been perfect..Now if i can figure how you did it and do it in Ai  lol  .And Wildgoose its supposed to be like that with no body, i tried the image on the the tyrex 800 atv with and without the body and i felt it looked better without. Thank you guys so much.i just have to figure out how to do what you did. I have ai cs6,Vector magic and inkscape.I cant get myself to understand inkscape for some reason,so ive just stuck with Ai and vector magic..  You all Rock.. Skarecrow what do you use?

    Ok ,so i tried exactly what you said, i found the transform section after i selected the whole image like you described ,when i went to join this is what popped up on my screen.....----->  "The selected objects cannot be joined as they are invalid objects(Compound paths,Closed paths,text objects,Graphs,Live paint group). You can use Join command to connect two or more paths, Paths in groups, or to close an open path... "

     

    So i think i missed something?

    Thanks clhyer, I will give it a shot.I didnt know how to do it ,So hopefully its easy for me lol//Where did you find the transform pallet etc. I am using Ai cs6. Guess my eyes wont navigate to what i need to see haha
