Thanks Djque.. Sorry i didnt get back earlier on this .. got it done with no errors, phew lol. I am curious on one thing tho,, is there a set Degree to use on where they actually should be placed or it basically up to the customer?

Ive been asked to see if i can do this ? since im still new to alot of things still with vinyl i havent done this yet to know the answer, is this as a simple straight cut with the angled edges or is there a little more involved due to the body curve over the fender and how would i measure for this if its not just a straight cut etc? Thank you All for the help or advice....

Sorry guys, been out of town.. I ended up doing the job for $525 using oracal 751 applying to 2 ea 4x8 pre-painted and he was very happy with it and wants more work as well...I told him that painting the supplied sign only being dry for 2-3 days could give a problem with the vinyl and he said put it on anyway that he isnt worried , so i had to make sure he understood that if anything happens its not on me and said he understood..So in the end and after a week or two the material is still holding strong...Than you everyone for your input..Everything helps..

customer wants this applied on a ready to apply 4x8 sign painted grey. i will be making the design and cutting etc. i haven't done a large area like this and im not sure what i should ask for cost.Thank you all in advance..

That sucks. but thats why they say dont go with the bottom line quality.. i started with the titan 2 24" cutter and have no complaints on it... does what i need it to..

I havent had any issues really, sometimes vinyl being pulled while cutting but hardly ever, the speed is set not to fast maybe around 145 or so and pressure at 102 or 105. but i always see people talking about blade offset settings and other things etc when it comes to cutting there vinyl...I use scalp4 and was curious if i should have my settings set a certain way or leave it .Thanks in advance..

I have Scalp 3 and 4 updated to recent version and havent had any issues unless i make a mistake when i select something incorrect etc.. hmmm

I actually use the uscutter greenstar medium tack paper and i will just use a piece of tape on an edge to hold it...The greenstar works perfect for me..

lol... i know the feeling , ive been so busy on here , i goto turn the 360 on and thats as far as i get . while im messing with vinyl i have a 360 dashboard to look at all day and never touch the controller till im tired or done wedding lol

lol Some things just suck for us to go thru while others skate free and live on the edge lol.. I went awat from the ps system after they got hacked years back lol...

lol. i dont care where they said they got it, All i know is there is nothing wrong with anyone charging money for putting on a decal for someone else..thats why i made sure its stated on my website that i install customer supplied decals as well.its out of my hands when they bring me something i didnt make. money is money, even if its only 5.00 to install for a coupe seconds, im good with that.just like if someone bought a chevy logo decal from a dealership and they didnt want to risk screwing it up. so why not pay someone else to do it and take the gamble off themselves . lol

It's ok Madhatter no worries. i do get alot of crap from some people in the backwoods of my family that say alot of bs to me on what i do etc.they have thier own lives that are screwed up they need something to bitch about no matter who it is and they dont like the idea of me being disabled caue i dont look like i am even tho they know im a legit case for it . I just assumed wrong by you and thats my fault due to what i deal with sometimes here. Its all good bud..
