The other to me would be vinyl waste size that is left over,if it will fit on the rollers to be able to use...otherwise it will be wasted material.

@cardudenc yep i remember. I really dont know if it would help or not.I had my own theory but im no static expert lol. To me it would eliminate some static since there is less static carrying material that would be near the floor.. But what do i know lol..

So i have narrowed it down to the epson WF 7610 .I have one other one to check out. But if i go with the 7610 i will get the tank kit or refill carts from cobra..... They do have the WF7610 on sale right now so it wont cost my nothing to get it plus with a free 2 year replacement plan..Thank you everyone for the info and im glad to be done with the headache.I was just having a hard time trying to pick one lol...

1st off Do not mess with the pinch roller tension. All you need to do is slide the vinyl in and manually make the vinyl feed thru and see what it does, If it started to feed one way, just open the pinch rollers while holding the vinyl in place and just barely move one side of the vinyl forward or backward while holding the other side in place and close the pinch rollers and run it manually again. you will get the hang of it really quick... I really don't ever use the measuring system they have going across the front or back anymore, I just know to move the vinyl very slightly back or forward on side or the other. It doesn't take much to make it move one way or the other ... I have cut up to 15 feet so far and it might only move a 1/8 inch at most.. @Sal316 thats weird , I've had zero issues with anything, Sounds like you just got a bad product that one time, and i guess i would feel the same way if it were to happen to me .But all i can say is it has cut perfectly dead on with the thousand or so designs I've ran in the past 2 1/2 years ive owned it since new. I know the graphtec is an amazing top end cutter. But i wont talk down the titan 2 lol at least not at this point.

Very true...... I've been very happy with my 24" . Ive been able to do store glass front designs 8 ft by 9 ft and 4x8 signs etc.. with no issues .just have to know how to cut things to make them work.. I just did a design for a biker group i picked up and the over all design was 40" tall .I was able to split the design into 3 whole pieces and came out great. As far as i see, i dont need a larger cutter as of yet.

According to tech support at uscutter. On the titan 3 68 inch cutter, the minimum pinch rollers width is 7 to 8 inches...

Thanks .I think i heard that .I wont be going to sub ink ..... Im just stuck on what to do lol... I really like that epson 16500 big model tho... Kinda tempted lol.. I guess im looking for what someone would do if you were in my shoes answer lol what printer would you get. And lets forget about the gift card i have lol.. I can use it for supplies etc.....

Maybe they changed it ,which would be a good thing if i ever upgrade to a larger one,If they fixed it, then that will be my next upgrade to a titan 3 ,if not i will stick with my titan 2 or have to find a equal or better cutter for those needs i seek lol. I will call uscutter and see if they made the fix or not..

2 1/2 years ago when i first got into vinyl it actually was one thing i did think of,I wanted to make use of all the vinyl i could even the scraps .so having the option of using the smaller stuff to make money was important as well.At least for me that is lol.. And at that time when they changed the design on the titan 3 pinch rollers to a wider Minimum scrap sizes than the titan 2 28" is why i went with the 28".

If the Titan 3 larger cutter only let you use a min of 12" or 15 " roll or scrap on the right( Unless they have made another change to it) ,then anyone with a ton of scrap less than that would have to toss a bunch of material ... But for me ( Titan 2) I have the option of a min of 3",4 1/2, and 7" min. Just letting anyone know the difference between the titan 2 28" and a cutter larger than that pinch roller specs.

I only use the right side for when i do have scraps left for around that size. and for me , i do all the time . Here is the right side of mine

@Wildgoose.The video ( about 37 secs into it ) was just to show the white marks where the pinch rollers have to go and the type of grit roller shaft it has... I think i remember seeing a cheaper cutter that has the grit roller fully exposed all the way across which would allow you to place the pinch rollers anywhere you wanted .But on a titan you cant .... And yes on mine i can use a 3 " wide piece of scrap on the right side( the grit rollers are 3" apart. thats why i went with the 28" model cause on the larger one they didnt have ( at the time) pinch rollers close like that.i think they changed it to a min of 12" or 15" for scrap.

as far as i know , only where the grit roller are coming up at ,.At least thats how my titan 2 28" is. I just look at the image of one and it looks the same ... I think all titans are the same. Not like some of the other cutters that have one long grit roller that the vinyl lays on ,There are white lines that tell you where the rollers have to go..

Titan is a good cutter.I have the titan 2 28" and i have no complaints in the past 2 1/2 years . knock on wood lol

And ???? . I hope it fixed it like it did for the last guy. I would really hate to see its your cutter..

Thanks everyone ,, Hard decision with limited choices,,I could go buy a Cobra ink setup but i really dont want to deal with clogs etc... Either way i need to get something like yesterday lol..

I dont think its his cutter but i could be wrong . @MrJoel try doing the same images again without the weeding lines and see if it does it again..If it does or doesnt check for a scalps update by to the website or upgrade to 4pro like i stated before for cheap.Fixed the last persons issues..
