I am getting a free $200 warranty card from Office depot because of a recent update done to my printer ( HP officejet Pro 8630 Dual tray with Pigment inks ) that prevented a set of cartridges i bought last year when i first bought my printer to not work, But all my other newer cartridges work i just bought lol..Weird i know ...... The printer works perfect with amazing color ec But i contacted the warranty dept and they are just having me return the inks that are the issue instead returning the printer, So i get to keep my printer and use it and go get another one lol..... So my question is what printer in your opinion should i get from them? I was looking at the epson ET-4550 with Eco-solvent ink tanks , But i have mixed thought on the reviews from the website. Some people have had no issues and love the printer and a few have had issues,This could be just user error also.... Im trying to get a printer for printing transfers for tshirts if im able to find one that is the proper one.... I can use this card for anything if i want ,but the epson comes with the ink to fill it for 2 years of printing ,Like 8500 pages of color and 11,000 black. An estimate of course but thats a lot of ink lol.. Or do you have a better suggestion for me on something from them? Laser? By chance does anyone have a ICC Profile for my printer i could possibly get from you to do some testing with.If not i understand and will figure something out.Thank you.

Ok thank you very much. i just assumed or thought that i should be using RGB or cmyk mode since i seen it and didnt know what i should be making it in,But RGB sounds about right since these printers are not cmyk.. Hopefully someone will chime in.. So you use CMYK on your 7610 or do you have a different printer i dont know about lol..sneaky sneaky. Any help @Dakotagrafx lol.... The great printer god lol

If i may ask here , When you are designing anything in Ai CC what are the steps that you take , like what settings are you needing to make the document color mode ( CMYK or RGB) or document raster settings if i even mess with that and what im supposed to make sure certain settings need to be for when i print,I tried looking on youtube but i might be wording it wrong on what i need .I just want to make sure im setting things up correctly and exporting or printing settings for printing etc .. Thank you .Im willing to send you some bucks for your big help as well...

Thanks bud ,I did order some that 3g after we talked before.

If i was to use my cutter to contour cut an image using jpss etc ,do i need to use a carrier sheet etc in order for it to cut correctly .I seen someone ask about this somewhere else and there was no answer given and then it made me curious as well since i just got my printer and my jpss paper. I dont want to screw things up if i tried the contour feature on my cutter. Thank you everyone.

I did a test print and press of tweety bird on an old pillow case, The colors did pop out after pressing ... Phew lol... Thank you Wildgoose Now what happens when i want to do a design like on a pink or light colored shirt besides white and the image has white in it that i need? will the White be the color of the shirt with jpss or do i need to print with 3g paper? Or is there a work around to get the white as needed? Thank you very much.,i think im just about done with questions .

@dcbevins Brand new printer.....I have not pressed yet, This was just a print test and i noticed the color difference and i stopped before going any farther.... Im using the Epson DuraBrite pigment inks.I plan on getting cobra inks carts or the cis system since i want to print more of my photos as well. I really like the quality in the gloss photos wow..

Wasnt sure if or where to post this at .. But i have a color calibrated monitor and also color calibrated both my printers ,When i do a test print on regular paper the image comes out perfect,When i print on a Jpss its lighter, What do i need to do to fix this? Im printing this out of My Ai cc selecting my printer profile.. Do i need to make changes in Ai for output or something in the settings ?

Why dont you just add the font to the design and make it yourself? I didnt see this whole image anywhere. You have a PM.

This is what is being asked by a friend on another forum,and im just irritated about the response he is getting , So i hope someone knows what the software is called or where he can get it.. If i knew the answer i would tell him even if i did the same work....Thank you. I fully agree, I would be worried of it tipping over with that small spread legs sticking out.. All it would take is 1 fall and you will be buying a new cutter lol.

Picked up the 7610 and its a beast. I got it and 2 sets of the XL cartridges for $218. Sales clerk gave me some extra discounts some how which was awesome... I am now waiting to hear back from cobra ink for either getting the refill cartridges and or tank setup. I see that they changed their tubing they used which is supposed to stop the clogging issue, So i am curious if anyone is still having this issue with the CISS or leaking cartridges from the refillable ones . Thanks
