If you don't see yourself using it then I say put a value on it and unload it. Take the funds and expand your supply inventory and equipment that will make you money. I hate sittin on things I don't use.

It's pretty easy and is done on the design page....
Select both the text and the curved line, right click and choose "ungroup" then select the curved line and delete it. The text will hold its shape but you will need to "group" it before you move on.
FYI....I use the Ellipse for curving text quite often which makes it easy to match the curve of other objects.
Hope this helps!

Temporary is what he needs for this truck. I have already installed vinyl on his full time rigs.

nice work led's! huge fan of Halloween here too. Really like your light projects. I'd like to light my pumpkins with led's this year....

these are going on a concrete workers one ton work truck so you can image how clean that thing will be

All good advice guys! Thanks ......I'll stick with the 12" and work on a "no guaranty" form.

That's pretty funny GC! Spray it with some clear then watch him attempt to remove it

Guy wants 16" x 24" door mags for his truck. I'm thinking they are too big and will catch more wind. What do you guys think? Ok to do or should I talk him into the 12"?

yes I left a comment there a couple of months ago which is STILL awaiting moderation.
Find me an active email for Anna and I'll send you a cookie

Thanks scarekrow.
Brings me back to the question... any suggestions on how I can track down the artist?
Is there a resource for looking up copyrighted artwork?
I'm leaving this alone until I find out for sure.
-
I have come up with a few of my own versions as well but ....can I do this? can I legally take the idea and put my own touch on it for profit?
-
funny Krow!! You bet your ars they'd find me. It's definitely much harder to do the right thing than it is to take credit for someone else's hard work. But I can sleep at night. -
I have sent a few messages to the original artist on deviantart but haven't received a response. I would like the artists permission to use this piece.
Any suggestions on how to track down the artist?

I like the concept but imo it could use some work. The flight end of the arrow isn't proportionate to the broadhead and I think it would look better with some separation around the "archery" with some shaft before the broadhead.
....constructive criticism

Yes I feel like this happens to me quite often.........and usually a foreign fellow with a heavy accent named Steve is unable to solve a damn thing!

I am using Graphtec Studio and something has changed here. If my design is say 1.5"H x 22"W on my design page it is huge on my configure cut job page. The width is fine but the height is 4x as tall. I've tried cutting it and it cuts huge as well.
What am I missing here? I haven't changed anything that I can recall......and I try to stay away from my work when under the influence of adult beverages.
..........got it.............job size was set to "fit to media"

What size? I really like 080 aluminum with white baked on enamel paint and 751 cast vinyl. I buy the blanks without holes for easier vinyl placement and then drill the holes myself.
-
Looks great GC! You should be proud of that being your first big rig.
-
I made this for our friends to put in front of their camper. He will make his own frame.
.080 white aluminum with Orafol 751 cast.........love these two products together!! -
Bump for an update..... Did you get started last weekend?

Nice work EL!

Perfect!

Looks good jay but what does it stand for?.......nevermind
-
I have the same setup with zero issues.
Also I found a way to export or at least email files out of Graphtec Studio.
File, print, PDF options... select "email PDF"
You have to shrink the design in GS and place in the upper left corner of the page or you will only send a partial file. Works on my Mac at least
Who will be the first?
