I have a unit patch from the DOD, and I'm having problems with it. I'm doing a tear in it with an Iron Claw, but when I try to Separate Common, it's telling me path's must be closed. I can't find the open path, and don't know why the DOD would have a graphic that's not closed. Can someone help? 168EngineerBdeSSI.eps

Does that basically turn say a straight line into a box or something? That's what it looked like it did.

Thanks. I just selected everything and in Flexi told it to convert strokes to outlines.

I mean technically I think most application fluids are pretty much the same. I think it really comes down to preference. I see some people love RapidTac2, but I don't care for it too much. I use RapidTac. Maybe these guys that know more can help you more.

I don't think it'll really matter. The official colors are kind of dull, and I like brighter.

These are the official colors if you want it the right way: Old Glory Blue Pantone: 282C, RGB: 0, 33, 71 CMYK: 100, 87, 37, 51 Old Glory Red Pantone: 193C, RGB: 187, 19, 62 CMYK: 8, 100, 77, 1 White RGB: 255, 255, 255 CMYK: 0, 0, 0, 0

Tried running this through the font identifying websites, but it says it's too complex. Anybody know what it is?

Oh ok. I have some thick magnet material, but my printer/cutter won't print on it, nor cut it. Maybe I need to order some thinner magnet.

How do you hand cut the ovals?

I try this sometimes, but I think one of my leg's is longer than the other lol.

No problem. That's what this forum is for.

What you do is select the text tool, but don't click on the work area. Go right to the design central and change the tracking. Then click on the work area. If you make the changes before clicking in the work area, it saves it like that for the next time.

Maybe increase the tracking in Design Central?

Who knew the internet has so many different ribbon banners? I've been searching all day for this one with no luck. About ready to pull the little bit of hair I have out.

They sent me the first picture I posted wanting one like that for another unit. I thought the ribbons were gradient which I couldn't do. So the second picture I posted is the one I made them instead.

It doesn't matter. I changed their ribbon to the second picture I posted and they wanted it red, so they got it red.

Looked like it was a light on the top of the ribbon and down darker.
