  1. Not at all Dakotagrafx. That's the whole point of research and analysis of the information. But if a new brand of cars comes out and it's seems like a good deal but there are little reviews on it, like in this case, I would probably stay away from it. The "new" brand would be the ZenCut even though its a rebranded GCCC Jaquar, which makes it possibly a good buy. IDK

  2. Hey guys. I am still the new guy thinking about which one of the two to buy. I was sold on the Graphtec until I called sales and they informed me of the ZenCut Green (ZCG). They explained it would do a "similiar" job for a little less. I have researched a ton on the graphtec and I am happy with what I have read. The ZCG has very little community input in the forums. Thoughts? I am ready to buy today. I have some jobs coming up.

  3. They ZenCut users must be busy using their machines because they run so well, or they have been on hold with support so long they fell asleep. These could be the reasons why no one is posting any real reviews on them.  ;D

  4. This thread may have just made me back away from the ZCG. I called and spoke with sales who recommended the ZCG over the Graphtec CE5000, explaining they are very close to the same. There is not much information in these forums about the ZCG, good or bad, and that worries me too. I just don't know if its worth saving $500+ by going with the ZCG over the Graphtec.

  5. Hey Dmax, quick question. This may help the whole thread. I am thinking of buying a Sunie. What do you think about the below options since you own a Sunie heat press:

    1) 16"D x 24"W Heat Press Digital Screen Printing (Free Shipping) for $399.99 w/ Free Shipping.

    2) Digital 16" D X 20" W Clamshell Heat Press (Free Shipping) for $499.99 w/ Free Shipping

I was leaning towards option 1 because of size, price and digital.

  6. Thanks cbsuperduty! I had a feeling it would be a lot of trial and error. Do you have to cut around the designs with JPSS, or will only the design transfer? Maybe that is a dumb question.

I am comparing the two below:

    1) 16"D x 24"W Heat Press Digital Screen Printing (Free Shipping) for $399.99 w/ Free Shipping.

    2) Digital 16" D X 20" W Clamshell Heat Press (Free Shipping) for $499.99 w/ Free Shipping

I can not really tell a big difference in 1 versus 2, but 1 has a larger area and is digital for $100 less. The descriptions are kind of close.

I look into the Cobra CIS and it looks awesome. I saw tons of recommendations for it. Does it really improve ink usage and performance by that much?

  7. Hello all. Newbie here! I usually outsource my t-shirts to a screen printer, but he can not do heat transfers or direct to garment and my multicolored designs and photo's cost too much for screens printing. So I have joined this forum because the people and information here are great. I bought a Epson 1100 and plan to do heat transfers with JPSS. Here are my questions.

    1. I don't want to spend $1000 for a quality heat press that is 16x20. What would you pro's suggest for a quality heat press?

    2. Best sites to buy the heat press?

    3. Can you start printing JPSS with the 1100's EOM pigment ink?

    4. Any suggestions on good guides to learning the process?

  8. Thanks for the welcomes! The people in this forum are fantastic. I don't think I have been in one better. I am investing in some new equipment soon and I will be contributing as much as possible once I get it setup and running. Look forward to some photo's and video's of me messing things up lol.

  9. I am interested in the same process. Which is the best ink to use for photo transfers? And does anyone have pics of their finished products. I am thinking about buying my first printer and supplies next week. I hope I have done enough research.

  10. Hello All. Thanks for allowing me to join. I have been trolling through your forum for months and did not join because I am not the best forum contributer. I hope that I can bring something of value and help someone like others have helped me so far. I design street wear and I have a small line I am creating and I want to learn as much as I can about different was to create my t-shirts.

    Thanks,
