Reset refine MH721 memory
UpNorthPromo replied to geoffsculpt's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I've had something similar happen before. Turning the cutter off didn't reset it, but when I unplugged the cutter and pluged it back in it did the trick. -
I by no means charge super high prices for my work. I get what my time is worth. I am the only sign shop for about 20 miles besides a few people who do it as a hobby. I gotta keep in mind when I do my taxes at the end of the year. Being self employed social security takes something like 35% of my profit. In order to keep my income at somewhere around $20-$30 per hour I have to keep my profit somewhat high.

Ebay is a tough sell. Everything goes for way too cheap. Some signs and banners only got for a few dollars more than cost. I can't see spending all the time proofing art, making the sign and taking the hit from ebay and paypal to make it worth it. In my opinion Ebay is really hurting the sign industry.

I got a vector Mountain Dew I just gotta delete the I from mountian but the "Do Me" will be a little more work.

I personally tape mine up on a wall. It seems much easier to work that way. Especailly with really large banners.

UpNorthPromo replied to James605's topic in Vinyl
I bought a roll of ShineRite once. It worked fine, but seemed a bit brittle -

Some old timer down the road from sold me a HIX heat press with the hat platen on it for $25! I don't have much use for it since most people like hats embroiderd but the price was right. I seen the same model going for around $600.

I have a few bait shops and gas stations that sell my decals around the area. I always use clear transfer tape on small decals for retail sale so the customer can see what they are getting. But you wouldn't believe it, I see people with my decals around and I'd say 10% of them leave the transfer tape on like its part of the decal My packaging come with instruction and still people do wierd things!

Keep going! -
I don't think it would affect it any. I've seen people put baseball cards under it and it worked fine on them. It would be an expensive test. Upload a pic if it works I would like to see.

Great! Let me know if you have other problems. I've been using Illustrator for many years and have a pretty good handle of it
-
I belive these are CS2 or greater. I had to place them on a new page. usually illustrator and .pdf go along good with each other.
-
I think I got what you need. There were clipping masks and a couple other things in there that made it a little more difficult. More steps than I can type. I got rid of the gradient. I hope you didn't need it. Let me know if it works. 3kings.eps 3kings.eps

Sometimes if you have problems opening files in illustrator you can open a new document and PLACE the file on to the new document.
-
I opened it directly into illustrator CS

Its about $7-8 a yard.

I'm not too good at explaining in a message. I basically filled the missing area in with a black box, selected all then opened the pathfinder window and clicked on merge to get rid of all the lines that don't need to be cut.
-
See if this did the trick. There was also alot of unnessecarry cut lines in the art I got rid of them too and welded it all together.
-
If anyone has any print cut decals they need done I can probably do it for you at a price you can still make money on.
