Thanks, Scales were canned fills, Flames were drawn in PS with a chrome bevel reflection, white outline and a little shading. Imported into Flexi Cloud and ripped to my Mutoh 1324 (yes I am the odd ball out here, LOL) on Oracal 3951HT with 290 Lam.

Here is one I did last week.

Myself I did not see the remarks made by flipscript but also I never did see bob promoting them or mentioning them in any way either. Was bob buying these or just copying and recreating these off the free previews? I went thru the site in question and on every generation they list the tos.

Rent or not to rent a Roland print/cut?
mopar691 replied to MadHatterGraphix's topic in Off Topic Section
what the dealer will quote you for a price and when it is said and done can be up to 35% difference. Do not use their insurance as it is extremely over priced, get your own. Make sure to shop around with other brands and show your quotes to the other sales reps, never settle on any offer until you have countered. -

If you go anything bigger then the BN20 you will hate not having a laminator. Makes everything easier. Applying full sheets to substrates is worth the cost of having one alone. You can get by with a BS but if you ever have large orders they are truly a necessity IMO. You will still have daily maintenance to handle and I am sure if that is neglected the repair costs will be pushed onto you. I would suggest if your not subbing out 1000 sg ft a month of print to not consider getting one until that point. Anything less than that your losing money. -
Graphtec software will not connect with a Q series machine at all. No point in even trying.

Please elaborate for the ones who have no Idea what you prefer and what you like.

Nice, I have not seen one of them for years. -
High Solids Automotive Clear Coat. About 30 Coats, lol

make a light table, use a window, etc. But I suggest getting away from clear tape. If going on anything with more complex curves clear tape does not conform like paper either.
-
a wet application with clear tape will never dry. Use paper tape only for wet installs. IMO clear tape is all around garbage. I have never been happy with it and refuse to use it.

But I use a Mutoh

Here is a few pics of a few benches I did for a customer last week. Did three in this batch. benches are 2' x 8' each. Prints are laid underneath a few heavy high solids clear coats.

Also the new holders do not have a removable spring

I am waiting to hear what HD has to say about this.

If you think somehow using that design is a "parody" if you are producing goods with it is unknown to me. Good luck in the future with your attorney friend cause going this route you will need him, (but I suggest you contact a different one).
-
I can pretty much guarantee your friend is not a trade mark or intellectual property lawyer and that is by far the worst advise he could of every told you if he even has a law degree he should know better than giving advice that is outside of his field of study
-
Ya, I do not suggest that type of thinking for anyone. That image is a plain out infringement on their design. Send that into here trademarkenforcement@harley-davidson.com and see what they think about it.

I do most of my production during the night. I spend all day dealing with customers and walk-ins. Generally crank up some pantera, start printing and slinging ink around 6:30, try to leave here about 11:00

Pretty big quote, would love to get the job. HELP!
mopar691 replied to DecalOriented's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
you can get them for cheaper. Heck, You can get poly bags for $.50 if you look hard enough. by the time its all said and done you will not find many 18 x 24, with a stake, with shipping for under 5 bucks a piece in your hands for a quantity of 50 and a good yard stake. -

ya, either flatbed or screened if your under 50 expect to pay about 5 bucks a piece. Unless you go with some cheap a$$ coro and even jiffier workman ship. Screening coro is a breeze if you are set up for it and have even just basic knowledge of printing. Much easier than doing textiles. Just a lot more hazardous with the solvents and such. Once in the mode I can do a bit over 150 a hour with a good vacuum table and the right setup.
