    Memory Upgrade? 721

right from the Keyspan ad. This "High Speed" USB Serial Adapter supports data rates up to 230 Kbps - twice the speed of a standard PC serial port. It is 100% USB compliant and features simple "Plug and Play" installation (no IRQs). Ideal for laptops (it weighs just 2 oz.), the Adapter draws its power from the USB connection so no power adapter is required. it is plug and play Man your on it dawg gone it! All the others list them as "High Speed" as well but I am sure they arent as high as they like people to think.

Will you need to do anything as far as drivers go? I also noticed the keyspan is alot more expensive than the others I can came across, what does the Keyspan offer the others do not? THanks for the great advice!

    Memory Upgrade? 721

I had my MH721 stop a few days ago almost at the end of the cut. It was a large cut but I dont know the size of the file or anything. Anything to keep this from happening again would be nice.

    MH721 Adding a Pinchroller?

OK so its $35 plus $10 shipping. Is it worth it to add a 4th pinch roller or would I be wasting $45?
  6. I was wondering if it was posible to add a 4th pinch roller to the MH721 series cutters. The split in the bottom roller makes it difficult to use even spacing of the pinch rollers. You have to either go to one side or the other with the middle roller. I think with a 4th roller added it would make a little better quality cut on the affected side. Anyone else out there done this? If so where do you get the rollers and whats involved in putting them on? Thanks in advance
  7. I did not see where you asked the first time before I posted. I am using flexi 8.6 v2. The box says 8 but the disk says 8.6 v2.
  8. Yea Flexi 8 Starter. I called tech and they fooled around with flexi and my settings but everything was right on. They had me reset the cutter and it worked fine. It works now but I have to reset the cutter after every cut. I have to pull the USB cable out and then shut the cutter down for 15 seconds then turn it on and then plug in the usb. Im going to try the free download of Signblazer and see how it does. I am thinking maybe flexi is too complex of a program for my simple minded cutter.
  9. Well I did. I cut out a few pictures playing with the pressure and all, today my vinyl came in and now it will not cut anything. I am about to call tech support.
  10. OK I got it. When I changed the port in production manager it didnt take and I didnt go back and check. OOPS:) Got it working now though. Hope I can get it going on my laptop without any issues now.
  11. Yes I tried that driver as well as this driver https://support.uscutter.com/hc/en-us Is there any special instructions that are not listed like plug in the cutter and turn it on then install the driver or something like that? If I install one driver and it does not work do I have to delete it before tying the other or is it OK to leave on my computer?
  12. Another Vista user with problems here! I bought my MH721 about 3 years ago and used it every day on my old Dell PC via com cable. I stored the cutter for a while and just took it back out to start cutting again, figured I would use my new Dell PC with Vista and the USB. I can not get my computer to reconise the cutter. I have tried Flexi 8 starter and Artcut but no luck. When I send something to cut and I click on the pending printer icon at the bottom of the screen I can see it pending but it shows that USB001 is "offline". I have tried both drivers listed on US Cutters downloads but neither work. I can put a com card in my new Dell PC but I want to run the cutter on my Dell laptop as well. Its easier for traveling. I am at a point where I am stuck. Anyone have any tips to help me get this going?
