We do a lot of the glitter HTV. I turn my pressure up 3 times as high as when I cut regular HTV. You will get it with a little practice.

Here are some decals and headrests we did for the local dealership. They are doing "Patriot Edition" trucks to benefit the Folds of Honor.

Vinyl Material for T-Shirt and Sticker Cuts
BoomDawgDesigns replied to mactube's topic in General discussion
I think easy weed does weed easier, but normally use thermoflex as I can get it in town and don't have to ship. I keep 20+ on hand. Good luck -
We buy 90% of our shirts from Sanmar. They do, however, require a business license to open an account. We could do them DTG for you. I would recommend the Hanes Tagless w/pocket as the Hanes seem to print very well with the DTG. Just message me if you would like a quote.

Who wants to make me a couple t-shirts
BoomDawgDesigns replied to Nudisuzuki's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Guess I'm too late to the party. If you still need them done, we can do them DTG no problem. -
We can run them DTG without a problem. You can pm or email me for pricing. boomdawg@boomdawgdesigns.com

need some transfers printed
BoomDawgDesigns replied to staley1204's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
We do DTG printing. DTG can only be done direct to the shirt. You cannot, at this time, print to a carrier sheet to use as a transfer. If you are interested in having your shirts printing DTG, just send a message and I can get you a quote. -
Here are a couple of cars we did over the last couple weeks.

We are printing DTG. It's CMYK with a white underbase.

Need a quote for 4 screen printed shirts

Just sent you a message -
Here us another option. Take a pic of the vehicle you are going to do. Import the jpg into your program. Measure a part of the car (door, tire, etc) and size the image until it is the same size. Then build your graphics on it.

Have a job doing a police car. It is black and they want the black reflective lettering done like other police cars have. I was looking at the Oracal 5600 black reflective. Is this the right stuff. Just want to make sure before I order $200 in vinyl. Thanks

Who does Embroidery on here?
BoomDawgDesigns replied to bigtracy's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Send me a pm. We can get them done for you. -
The grant they got provides them with a used Humvee that the army no longer uses. I know thus because my brother wrote the grant for it. Total cost to them was $800. Don't think that is much of a waste. A bunch of departments around here have vehicles done in the same with the black on black.
-
It's actually a Humvee. I think the point is that it is kind of an undercover look. I think it is going to be used mostly for parades and stuff. They only got it because they got a grant for it.
-
They will need a jpg. The artwork will have to be digitized for embroidery. They have to create a underbase then add the stitching on top. How tight the stitching is and how many stitches are used will depend on the way it is being run. The artwork will be turned into a general emb file. Then that file can be sized and turned into whatever file the particular embroidery machine uses (dst, pes, etc).

Thinking of expanding into T-shirts, have a few questions!
BoomDawgDesigns replied to absolute_customs's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
I would suggest to get the best equipment you can afford. You won't be sorry later down the road. We use a hotronix and love it. We recently got a direct to garment printer to do shirts, but that is the most expensive method of doing them. Good luck. -
Everyone will have their own opinion and favorite brand/style. We use Gildan almost exclusively. We only use other brands when the customer requests them or we need something Gildan doesn't have. We use the 5000 series the most and have been very happy with them. Recently we started using the 64000 series and are really liking them as well. Good Luck.
