Good call and looks like a paint roller for applying the paint! First thank you for the help and Dakota the picture might look funny but the paint is smooth it has what looks like a clearcoat with a metalflake in it over the top so maybe that is what you are seeing.now I have to go home and check it out to see if it is mirrorlens or the turned.

I did the search and saw that one but the pistons are laid down a little more than I want but it might work if I knew how to split it from the skull.Thanks for the help.

Well with the new copam up and cutting well with a little blade adjustment I now have another question , I tried the outline tool to do a two color text and I created my text and used the outline tool and cut my two colors my outline color cut two lines making the outline only the .25 inches I wanted for the outline instead of 1 solid piece .25 inches bigger is that the way it should be or am I doing something wrong.It seems line up has to much more accurate with the middle of the bottom layer cut out than if it was just layered.(hopefully someone understands what I just wrote THANKS

well I made my first two cuts with the copam and after adjusting the blade depth it seems to be cutting fine thank you for the help.

Im waiting for my copam 42" to show up and I have a few questions . What is the newest and best driver for using the usb cable? Do I have to ground the cutter to the stand and if so what is the best way to do this ? When using this cutter with a laptop does anyone plug in the usb when cutting and unplug the usb when not cutting and do you have any problems doing this ? I have searched alot but I am just looking for the most updated answers to these questions . THANKS for any help.

Out of the list for drivers which one do I use for just usb I see usb to serial or where do I get the om-60 driver ? thanks usb

I ordered a copam 42" cutter yesterday and I was wondering about how long the shipping takes to new york . Does uscutter send you a tracking number when shipped? guess I am just excited to get it.

Yes I got a tracking # for each package shipped , that is what I meant they gave me the tracking #s right off and they actually worked I find sometimes online companys will just say yes it was shipped and then dont have a tracking # or even give you a bogus # .

Well I called this afternoon and it was shipped the same day I ordered!! and should be here monday . It is great to call a company and get a straight answer right off , good job USCUTTER. Hopefully set up goes good as well. S.

BannerJohn, I read in a few places on this board that the at60 was more of a medium tack but maybe I made a mistake is there a clear and paper that works well for you and is it better to use wet app. or dry app. with reg. marks will the high tack work at all for me or not .

What is my best bet for graphics and lettering on a dirt modified is oracal 651 ok or do I have to go with the much more expensive 751 ? I also looked at the vinyl at phase II sign supply (mactac 8300 series ) or is there something else I should be using ? Thanks

I was looking at the copam 35 inch cutter but now it is not there anybody know why? I am going to be doing a couple dirt modifieds and want to do some stickers and signs and if things grow I want to be prepared with a good cutter. Does anyone have suggestions on good software to use for design and cutting,I have already downloaded inkscape and signblazer to get started i just didn't know if something else was quicker and easier . Thanks for any help I have been lurking here for only a few days and already learned a ton with alot of learning to go.

Thanks for the help dakota and others it looks like I am going with either the copam 42" or the 24" the 35" is out of stock for 4 to 6 weeks per USCUTTER .My order is going to look like this 42" copam cutter extra set of blades app. tape 6" 12" 24" (Is one kind better than the other?) greenstar 12 roll starter kit (is this vinyl ok to start with ?) Not sure on knifes for weeding and squeegees are any better than others ? Sorry about all the questions but I feel I need all the info I can get to make good decisions and Im sure all the guys and girls here have had all these questions at one time or another and I feel I can get good answers here .

Another new guy question I only get 1 font in my text drop down menu shouldnt I have all the windows fonts at least or am I doing something wrong ? I have a list of them in inkscape .

I just opened my text box in the hotshot demo and the text box is not the same as in elements and all the fonts were there should both boxes look the same ? Is it possible to lose(close) part of the text box ?
