If there is an overcut setting in the program your using set it at .100 and that should fix the incomplete cut MM64

Why do you need to turn text into paths? I just type in what I want and tell SB to cut it never had a problem. MM64

I'm using a graphtec 5000-60 and ai my problem is that when I use cut master 2 the cutter will see the frist reg mark but when it starts to move to the 2nd mark it only moves about 4" and stops the 2nd mark is 13" from the first Now if I open Graphtec plotter controler it will see all 4 reg marks... So I'm thinking I'm missing something in AI Please help Thanks for any help MM64

Thanks for your time and info but I don't seem to have the tabs you are talking about I show a rip/print button but no print/cut And I don't find reg mark on any of the tabs I'm using Flexi pro 8.1 so I'm still lost Thanks again MM64

Yeah the way I understood it was that if you set it to 0 it would still go around twice but cut the same line MM64

The only thing I can find in Sign Blazer that MIGHT cause this would be the Duplicate Position under Perferances MM64

Not sure what cutter or program your using but in the cut window there is a setting for how many passes you want the cutter to make I think it's under the advanced tab MM64

I'm using 11x17 jpss and the program I'm using Illy with cut master 2 The image I made was done in Illy so thats the reason I'm using it Is there a way to take an image from Illy and cut it in flexi and use the Illy reg marks? Thanks MM64

If it dosen't work with the wires togther try it with them seprated... as it might be a n/c switch

I just thought of something else.... I bought my cutter broken and have had it all apart and there is a micro switch on the handle that you raise the rollers with it is under the right hand cover...as soon as you move the handle to release the rollers it puts the cutter in the load media mode if the switch is bad it will not know if the handel is up or down to test remove the cover and jump the 2 wires on the switch togther if that fixes it then the switch is bad you can run the cutter without the switch as long as the 2 wires are hooked togther That switch just tells the cutter if the handel is up or down Let me know what you find MM64 BTW... if need be I'll pull the cover and post pix just let me know

The media sencers are in the base... they are the 2 (1 front 1 back) ovel shaped holes below the long blue strip Try covering them with tape just to see if that makes a differance... you can't run with them covered I think you can go in the programing and turn them off MM64
