    Unwanted Weeding Cuts

The blade holder certainly is moving up and down...how much of the blade should be exposed in the holder. The instructions say 1/64th of an inch...but is that barely visible, about the width of a piece of paper, a credit card, or? Thanks again for your help. This is really frustrating.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. Would the blade be cutting through the backing paper if the blade was extended too far and was cutting the jog lines? It is not curring deeper than the vinyl. All of my experience is with a Roland Stika so this is all new turf.

I am unsure just how I would photograph these cuts as they are really fine. I can watch them develop when I click on the command "Cut Tile." The graphic will be shown and then these seemingly random lines begin to trace across the drawing with no apparent pattern. They appear as a sort of dotted line on the monitor, but are actually a solid cut running across various parts of the graphic.

    Unwanted Weeding Cuts

Hi, All...I am a newbie to this forum as I just purchased an unused/used Laserpoint cutter and have had my first introduction to SignBlazer. I am a little frustrated by a series of weeding cuts (I think that's what they are) that are running through my decals and making weeding difficult as pieces not intended to be weeded are accidentally removed. These are not weeding cuts called up in the Cutter menu. They just happen. Is there any way to turn this "feature" off or am I doing something that is causing these cuts to happen. Thanks to any and all in advance for help. Dennis
