  1. Has anyone tried cutting through more than one layer of vinyl at a time? Typically I use Oracal 651 for my sandblast resist when blasting glass. I want to blast some slate witha heavier grit and would like a thicker stencil. I was thinking about layering 2-3 layers of 651, then cutting it which would give me a thicker stencil. I have a USCutter 24" PCUT. Would slowing the cut down and adding some pressure be ok?

  2. Thanks for everyones help. Im pretty sure I figured it out. I imported it into SB and did a total weld and that seemed to do the trick. I just need to clean up the tips of the flake and I should be good. Thanks again to everyone who chimed in on this thread!!

  3. Had this company send me this logo to cut from vinyl and put on a 12x18 reflective backer for some trail sponsorship signs. This would be a nightmare to cut and try to make work. Is anyone able to print this or give me an idea what it would cost to print this? Id lke to just just take the print and stick it on the backer. Probably looking to print it 9" tall by whatever it falls widthwise.

    Thanks

  4. My though was if I used reflective background I would get the best bang for my buck but not have much if any waste from weeding. As long as the non reflective lettering shows up im happy with that.

Does anyone have a reflective recommendation? I was looking at the Oralite 5500

  5. I have a job to do some reflective snowmobile trail signs. What would be best....solid reflective background with non reflective lettering? Or Non reflective background with reflective lettering? Ive seen it done both ways.
