A buddy of mine is getting married in a few weeks and I wanted to etch up a wine or champagne bottle with thier names, the date, etc. Does anyone have any experience with etching bottles like this? If the bottle is dark would just the etch show up enough or would it need to be painted? Would a more clear glass be better?

Do you have the eps of that Vintage Smoke logo?

I just renewed my license with Signcut. I imported an eps and told it to cut 14"x2.5". When it is being sent to the cutter it is cutting 5x that size. When i go back to sign cut the sizes have reset themselves to this huge size. How do I get it to cut the size I need?

Im pretty sure I am. When I go to cut it, it shows it using about 14.5" of vinyl which seems correct, just when it starts cutting it is huge.

I will be etching some pub glasses for a project. My question is should I skew my stencil so that its smaller on the top so when I apply it to the curved and tapered glass it still looks correct? Or will laying it down as is be ok?

I have a mirror project I want to complete. My blast cabinet is currently set up with 220 grit AO for etching glass. With the 220 AO be heavy enought to cut through the silver backing of the mirror or should I look into some heavier media?

What kind of mug do you want this on? Beer Mug, glass?? -
Depending on what cabinet you get, maybe half that. the AO is pricey but worth it.

I have a small blast cabinet from Harbor Freight. Not the nicest thing out there but it gets the job done. I checked this one out at Tractor Supply the other day ant it looks decent for the price. http://www.tractorsupply.com/tools/sandblasting-tools-accessories/black-bull-abrasive-blast-cabinet-3951103 220 Grit AO is the way to go, leave a nice smooth frost on the glass. Got mine from Harbor Freight.

PCUT630 Cuts half of the decal then goes to left and hits red button
RocketRollinSX posted a topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Discussion
I am trying to cut a 23.25" wide decal on 24" vinyl. I set the start point way to the right side like I always do and zero it out. I hit cut and it starts to cut and all is well. About halfway through the cutter moves to the top of the design and cuts a line across the top, off the edge till it runs into the red button. I have my roll size set to 24" and the design down to 23" and it still does it. Any ideas?
