    Thanks!
  6. I bought a 24" P-CUT a year ago. I have cut about 50-60 decals some large some small. I haven't had any problems yet. I use it just to cut stuff for myself and some friends. Now I have a chance to do some decals for a school. I made them a few just to see if they like them and they did. Now they are possibly wanting 200 made. There only 6"x6" and somewhat easy to weed. I could make enough money to pay for everything I've bought so far. Just not sure if the machine would hold up. I'd hate to be in the middle of the project and have the machine crap out. Anybody ever cut large quantities with machine? Thanks

    Looking for a bullseye

No harm done. I just thought it be OK to ask. Yes Ive been sitting here for hours playing with this thing and I have figured more out. So it's working out for the best. I took it as if you meant don't ask for a graphic, make it yourself. So all is well. Thanks for the fire, advice, graphics lol

    Looking for a bullseye

I wasn't directed at you kyjeeper. I was just pissed That I request a graphic, someone helps. And then I get.. figure it out on your own. Well if the other guys post did anything, it pissed me off enough to sit here "on my own time" and figured it out. So I did. I made my own. And it worked. And it cut. And it looked good. So he lit a fire under my ass. Or he was being ass. Bottom line. I figured it out. So for the rude post,, I thank him.I'll just think twice before asking for anything here again.

    Looking for a bullseye

Cool. People cant read. I Said I tried for a month with the to programs I have, Inkskape, & Signblaze. I don't do this for a living. Just for me. For some strange reason there is a category here called Graphics request. So I figured since it says that, it was fine to ask. Because like I said before I tried. Obviously I didn't try hard enough. So I keep dickin with this till I can become an expert at it. Then I'll return here to give other folks who need advice or help shit. Why is there allways an asshole baggin on others here when they show there work or ask for advice? Amazing! Ask for advice or request a graphic in the proper place and still get crap for not figuring it out on my own or my own time! Please! I wont ask for help anymore because I wouldn't want to show anymore of my stupidity.

    Looking for a bullseye

So far no luck. The one kyjeeper posted I thought was going to work. I managed to get it imported but it ended up showing up as a solid circle. The jpeg he posted looks exactly what I'm looking for. I tried to trace that , and when I did it looked good in Inkscape but when imported to signblazer it didn't look good at all. That jpeg he made of the picture I put up would be perfect. Just the bullseye itself. The guitar outline was just to show what I'm trying to do. So just the bullseye would be great. Thanks again for all your help. I have been trying to do this myself for about a month. With no luck.I never would have thought a bullseye would be such a pain.lol

    Looking for a bullseye

Thanks! But for some reason when I import the eps in SignBlazer it is blank. Not sure why.And when I tried to trace the jpeg and save it as an eps myself, I get flat spots in the rings. I'll keep messing with it some more. Thanks so much again!

    Class Action Lawsuit?

Well I have had my P-cut since November and haven't had any problems. . It does what I need it to do and then some. It was only $300 !! What I have done with machine in that amount of time well paid for itsself. Even Even if it does crap out I'll decide if its worth repairing or just get another machine. If US Cutter knowingly sold people junk I would think this board would be overwhelmed with complaints. I don't see it.By the way how do you properly grand a P-Cut? Mine is on its stand in a carpeted room. Jack
  19. Not only did I get this thing to cut small test cuts .Blade depth wasn't an issue.Weeded no problem.Cuts some names out for a guy at work and a few other small sized stuff. And said screw it! I went for it and cut a 15"x15" and a 22"x22" logo of the band I like for my hutch for my toolbox at work. All in chrome. I had no problems. I just couldn't believe I successfully did this. Those 2 decals was the reason I bought this whole thing. As far as I'm concerned it paid for itself. So now I'll just play around and have fun with it.Here's the 15 incher.
  20. Thanks. If it wasnt for the people in this forum I wouldnt have made it this far.
  21. My PCUT arrived yesterday! Put the stand together and mounted the cutter. I haven't made it any further than that yet. This weekend I'll get the thing up and running. I'm using a new laptop with Windows 7 and just finished installing Signblazer and Inkscape. The laptop does not have a serial port so I think I will get a adaptor at radio shack. Is the usb to serial adaptor the way to go? Or should I just use usb? I'll tell you, for the money if this thing works I will be very pleased. Well packed and doesn't look or feel cheap like I imagined it would. Since this is my first cutter maybe I don't know any better. I'll post my progress as I continue if anyone is interested. Thanks to everyone for all there help so far! Jack

    PCUT arrived!

I got the machine up and running. I was following the newbie manual word for word and was so nervous i was going miss something I totally forgot to plug in the usb to see if windows 7 drivers were automatically there. I just popped in the cd and installed the driver. Then hooked up the usb to the computer configured the port in Signblazer and it worked! I even went as far as converting a image in inkscape then imported it to Signblazer set it to the size I wanted and previewed it and hit cut. Now I only had the pen adaptor in it. But it came out perfect! So next Ill work on actually cutting something. And tinkering with the settings and go from there.I sure hope everything goes as smooth as it has so far.I'll say this the newbie manual is the only way to go. Seriously.I really think I wouldn't have make it this far without the manual and this forum.I have a strange feeling I'm going to be addicted to this whole thing! Jack
