Thanks Skeeter for the help! I think I need to use this more than 5 times a year
-
Oh okay will try that. I always just resized after I sent to the cut plot page.
-
Hi Skeeter would that be the same as break apart command? I tried that first. I then tried your suggestion but it was not highlighted so I clicked select all and group, then ungroup was highlighted so I checked that and no difference when sent to cut/plot page. All three items still show in on red outlind box.
-
I have layed out three different images on the design page. My question is can I send them to the cut/plot page and size them individually? They show up seperatly on the design page, but when I send them to the cutter they resize as one image. I would like to be able resize them individually and cut them all together.

Hello Howard, based on what you just posted, what product would you recommend?
-
Good idea! I will do that right now.

Hey you have been a big help I appreciate your input Maybe I'm being overly cautious. I just don't want to buy a roll of material I can't use After checking other brands it appears most of them are waterbased adhesives.
-
The vehicles are mostly restored vintage army Jeeps and trucks. The finish on the vehicles is a flat slightly textured surface. The is your typical spray can type of paint. What concern me was most of the paint mask products including Oracal listed waterbased adhesives and I did not know if that would be a problem
-
Anyone have any experiences good or bad with paint mask material? I am looking to buy a roll and need some insight on the different brands. I was looking at the Oracal brand at USCUTTER, but it has a water based adhesive and I am just not sure how that will work with solvent based spray can paint.

Thanks again for all your help It is most appreciated! And I went from newbie status to two stars on one post life is good

Yea but the bad news is I have it. :'( I wonder why it doesn't do it with the spiral file. Maybe I will delete the program and redown load it and see what happens. Man I sure like the spell check on this forum I have always wondered why it was not available on the forums I frequent this is a first
-
Okay what did you do It opened right up no problem
-
Yes it does everytime I try to import the star image into signcut. That image should not be any different than importing the spiral image correct?
-
Just gave it another go. I opened Inkscape and click on the spiral button, made a spiral and saved as eps file to a folder on my desktop. Opened signcut clicked on file browsed for file on desktop opened and click on spiral.eps and it opened it signcut. Then I did the exact same thing with the star graphic and got the error message again and signcut closed. So everything was exactly the same except I had a star instead of a spiral

Thanks for the help! I will give it another go and post the results here.
