I need help with getting corel to launch graphic to singcutX2 PE I Know I need to shoot vista and load XP on it but it is a HP and it came on the pc. The pc I have XP on only has 1.0 usb ports and I think it is losing parts of the graphic. Anyone know how to get to work it to work on Vista home premium edition not basic.

Seems as though when you create it in corel it makes it one file amd it will go cut out all of the one part of the graphic say like you have a P it will cut out the centers of all the P's 1st on each copy of the graphic then it will go cut out the same part of another part of graphic so you create one then up your number of copies in sign cut X2. If you do not have or use signcut then I do not know how to correct it from corelX3.

You have to take the one graphic and vector it and then send to SignCutX2 then where is ask how many copies put you number in there and it should work. I knew it was me not knowing the program but like i said i have been doing this awhile now so it just takes me time thats all. it cuts one graphic at a time also it does not cut random across the page anymore it cuts the full graphic and then moves to the next. I hope this helps someone as I know it haS been a pain for me LOL

Ken I think I figured it out!!! At least I hope so. I was creating the image in corel X3 and sending it to signcut X2 as a vector file. You have to take the one graphic and vector it and then send to SignCutX2 then where is ask how many copies put you number in there and it should work. OK here you go. I have corel X3, SigncutX2 PE, and Inkscape all with current updates. I cut an image out perfect while it is horizontal and it cuts fine. Now let me rotate that image to Vertical and it wont even send it to the plotter it is like the plotter does not see it, on the screen it shows the bar loading but plotter does not do anything. The artwork is created in Corel X3 and transported to signcutX2 as a vector file. Any info on what I am doing wrong? Also why will it not cut letters I get it to cut letters on one graphic but when I do more than one it misses some but it will cut the same letter on another. Say like if you cut one it will cut a,b,c.d,e,f,g, but on another it will miss d on another it will miss the a on another it will miss g but if you cut it out one at a time it cuts perfect. and it cuts the entire decal graphic and dont miss any of the graphic but only letters. And when it cuts letter if it does not finish cutting the letter it locks down and cut a line all the way back to point of start. Line of death but it starts from the point where it stopped cutting the letter. PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice thought tater I understand that and I am doing that but my Roland is cutting away if I wanted to cut one at a time I would have bought another Roland 24" probably should have customer service is alot better for sure. Guys I am not disatisfied with the plotter I know it is me and it is operator error I am sure. I just need some help and I have had a post up for sometime now with no answer yet and I see all the help on all the other post. I guess I have not payed my dues yet LOL. But it is very frustrating.

Well I am glad we have a forum but I do not know how to get anyone to answer questions on here. I hope I have not offended anyone on here but I have a pressing order and been Asking HOW DO YOU GET PLOTTER TO CUT LETTERS? I can cut one decal and it cut perfect when I go to cut two it misses parts of letters and to be quite frank I am realy damn tired of waisting 50" Vinyl at $160 a roll I do wish I could get an answer or I am afraid this plotter will be sold on ebay as a used unit. This realy sucks I have to wait a week or even two to get a question answered with another question.

I do not know how to attach a copy of the file here. if I cut one at a time it cuts it out fine. when I cut multiple is when I have the trouble only on the letters the graphic cuts out fine.

I am using corel X3 for design the sending it as a vector file to signcutX2 PE with updates installed from US Cutters web site. But I only get this on graphics with letters. if it is a design with no letters it is no problem.

And this only happens on letters and I did create the decals in corel draw X3 and I did convert to curves and I did save a a vector file and sent it to signcut and it is the PE version. I also did the update on it from the uscutter web site. Any suggestions?

Well I got it to cut with usb port now I am having problems with it not cutting some parts of the decal (EXAMPLE) if it is cutting one and comes to a letter say like a (S) it cuts the (S) half way then it stops and cuts a line all the way across the decals to the starting point point of orgin but is will cut the (S) with no problem on another decal. I thought it was a comunication problem so I slowed the baudrate to 4800 it was on 9600 on 1st pass. As it did improve on the 4800 baudrate but still did it but was also in diferent spots than the last and I did ground myself with computer ground strap while doing it and still had problem. Any other ideas?

Mine does it and it is grounded and also does not cut some of the decal design. Do I need to drop it below the 4800 setting?
