  1. I have had a 721 for about a year now. I pray every time i turn it on that it will work properly. So far so good. I have paid for it twice over just by doing stuff for family and friends.  I realize that if it quit today, that i would be content and probably look for spending more for a better cutter like a graphtec, Roland, etc...

Sorry to hear about the cutter, but we get what we pay for.

    good luck

  2. I may be wrong but I didn't think the MH-721 supported contour cutting. I havent kept up on the forums lately and maybe something has changed with this cutter??  I thought only the laserpoint worked for contour cutting in this level of cutter.

If it does, someone enlighten me on how to get it to work. :-

  3. Request has been yesterday. I haven't received them and don't want to call and bug you.

the company  purchased from was totally ok with me putting this on here like this as i asked them prior to it. they even told me i should NOT be giving them away but instead should be charging each and eveyone of the people that i send an image to as i had to buy them also.

I would be willing to pay something for each one if you would ask. There are some clips here that I just haven't seen anywhere else.

  4. That makes me feel better. I've had one for a few months now with no problems at all. It runs perfectly and consistently.

It doesn't cut very small detail very good, weeding is a nightmare, but getting the clean cut blade helped a lot.  I don't use mine as much as you do, so I hope it will last at least as long as yours has so far.

  5. Yeah. The ad she listed said $200. I thought she meant for each one of them. She then replied no, 200 for both! ;D

I picked them up the next day.. ;D

I didn't even want the hat press, but she wouldn't separate them, so of course I got them both.

As soon as my sister found out i could do hats, i ended up doing over 50 hats for her business.

After spending several hours cutting and weeding over 50+ hat logos, I realized I  couldn't make too much money doing hats with vinyl transfer! screen printing might be easier!!

  6. Looks good Mader. Has very nice appealing colors to it.

I too am designing a logo for my sisters work truck. They have a dodge ram with an extended cab, and I am debating on whether to put it on the front door or the back door.  That Ram lettering is messing it all up. Makes it seem overcrowded and too "busy" on the panel.  They probably won't let me take them off. Will post my design picture soon and see what you guys think....

  7. Yes they are awesome. It brought new life to my MH-721 Refine. I had problems getting smaller letters to weed properly. This blade definitely solved a lot of that. It still doesn't cut like a Graphtec by no means, but it makes it bearable.  Just get the 60 blade. Don't mess with a 45.

I can't remember, but I'm sure the one for the Refine would be this one:

    Roland 60 degree

Solid ultrafine grain carbide tip, brazed to a hardened steel shank. Fits Roland camm1,Allen Datagraph, Graphityp, CSR ecom-2, Stika, Vinyl Express not Q series. Primarily for 12+ Mil. vinyl.

  8. I recently installed the 60 clean cut blade I ordered. I've got it adjusted and cutting better than the original blade. I still had problems after I installed it, so it definitely required a lot of tweaking. Its almost where it should be. I still have some weeding problems on fine letters and details, but definitely better. I really can't say that using the Cleancut blade fixed most of the problem, or the fact that I spent a longer time this go around to tweak everything until I got it the best I could.

I've come to realize that my MH-721 will probably never cut perfect and I am fine with it  It will do until I can invest in a Graphtec/Roland.

The Clean Cut blades are sharp and are damn built solid. Almost 3 times thicker than the US cutter blades. It sure looks like this thing will last a long, long time.

  9. My MH-721 doesn't either. It resets every time to -->      Speed=24 Force=100.

No matter what I do, it always defaults to these settings. It generally cuts Oracal 651 good at those settings for me so I just leave it there.
