BannerJohn thanks for the idea but it didn't seem to help. I am using the serial connection. I tried to connect via the usb with signcut and didn't have anyl luck. I just tried the usb with winpc and still no luck. I'm probably not setting up the usb connection correctly, which is why I just used the serial connection in the first place. I've even tried uninstalling signcut just to see if that would do it and still no luck. I have the settings for the cutter the exact same in both of the programs.

Cutter communicates fine with SignCut (Com 1). When I try to setup the cutter in WinPcSign I get an error when I select Com 1. It says Com 3 is available but if I use it I can't connect to the cutter. If I switch back to Com 1 and try to cut something then the cutter makes noise for a second then nothing happens.

I'm trying to decide which program to purchase. Just wondering what some opinions are. I'd rather spend more and get more, than have to tell a customer I can't do what there asking? I was really impressed by watching the flexi demo but don't know enough about either software to make a good chioce.

By reading some other posts we figured out that the carriage was off the track. We reset the carriage and now it cuts perfect. If your having trouble with your cutter i suggest you look and make sure your white wheels on the carriage are in the track.

We are using a Refine 721 Cutter and it cuts the graphics perfectly but the text is always rounded on the bottom ( mostly left hand corner). Just wondering what we can do to eliminate this? We are using sign cut and inksape.
