It looks good. As far as $40 vs $20, my thoughts on that is it all depends on your market and how much work you currently have. Let's be honest here, if there is more work to be had out there, it's more likely a $20 charge will result in more referrals/ future work than a $40 charge. You did give the Honda owner a couple of business cards..... right?

I think it involved a lot of work to make that logo and it's sic, yea that's the word. However if I were a potential customer and you handed me a business card with this on it, I might be inclined to say "What the H----" You might be better served to not place it on a card. IMHO

It does matter if one charges or not for a reproduced copyright item, it would still be a violation of the copyright, if they did not possess license; as they would be diluting the image intent.

I agree U Line is a good source for sleeves. I suggest one compare prices on the Impulse Sealer with Harbor Freight Online Catalog before making that decision.

If you are only three doors down on the same street from this location, what's to stop you from launching the venture from your house? If there is demand for your product at your local, I subscribe to a theory the storefront alone isn't gonna make the difference between success and failure, however the added expense of supporting a storefront could.

Suggest impulse sealed clear vinyl sleeve with cardboard header stapled to top allowing for hanging display and most importantly; advertising your brand.

The ebay four channel card I had included BNC to female RCA converter plugs, which was much cheaper than Rat Shack. Like everything else; I suppose there have been advances in the last two years, my experience with IR Illuminated cameras is less than desirable out beyond 20 ft.

I can tell you from experience that Avery A6 applied to a clean whiskey glass and washed in a Kitchenaid on the top rack with Cascade did not fair well. Smaller segments on the project lifted after one washing with no heat dry. The remainder of the project appeared to possess a level of adhesion lower than when first applied. This same type of vinyl has survived 24 months thus far in all weather applied to the back of our vehicle and regularly subjected to high pressure car washes and direct midwestern sun light. Our Kitchenaid is 10 years old and if my recollection is correct from working in the sales and service segment of the appliance industry was designed to preheat the water to 180

A dishwasher normally heats the water to a scalding temperature. Good Luck

If you are referring to the blue teflon silicone sheets, they act like a heat sink and do not allow enough heat to transfer thru.

Is that anywhere near Volcano Pizza? Hey wait a minute I just realized they dropped the Johnson City location from the Indiana boxes, maybe you don't have one anymore?

Over the years I've had a sarcastic tendency to ridicule his TV pitches. Then I started watching the show PITCHMEN and found his to be a likable personality.

Same experience here. Perhaps it's due to my limitations or maybe the quality of the sample. I have not had a decent cut with the free 3M on detailed cuts.

Waiver for signs
edge replied to midsouthprosigns's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
However I've seen examples of some on this forum actually installing the sign, in which case a waiver could be a prudent move. But nuthin really indemnifies one completely. -
WHICH COLOR VINYLS TO BUY? Starter? Which 5 colors do you use "MOST".THANKS!
edge replied to kevin3vd1's topic in General discussion
I'm gonna add Gold and Silver to the list. I've found both to work well as background colors allowing many of the same applications to work well on light or dark surfaces. Of course if you have a popular sports teams in your area, it doesn't hurt to have specific colors complementary to them. But that's more than five..... -
From what I've seen in the photo and Ohio you shouldn't have any problem blending into a crowd at the fair. Almost went to Ohio for our last vacation, but the flatlands of Iowa got one more vote from the family. Tell me, is Ohio as exciting as all those miles of corn fields?

why is it so hard to contour cut with signcut, it was so easy with with sbe...
edge replied to wegottees's topic in Signcut
What software are you using to layout your design with? Design with Corel which has eazy to use contour and launch to cut with SignCut. -
Which cutter do you have? Reading your post, leads me to believe you are less than confident in disassembly. If that's the case, what gives you the confidence to believe you'll then be able to reassemble the cutter. I'm not saying you can't do it.....just be sure if you do, it's because you believe it can be done by you and not thru an act of desperation. If it's the laserpoint, the main board is in the bottom pan of the cutter.

Teflon Sheets and Temperature strips??
edge replied to williamssignco's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
I found the better price for teflon on fleabay. Can't help you on the temp strip other than to ask. Are you sure you wanna go with a temp strip and not an IR thermometer? -
what is a Carrier Sheet?, Using laserpoint to cut tshirt transfers!!
edge replied to wegottees's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
Most craft stores (Michaels, Hobby Lobby) will sell reusable CriCut carrier sheets. These are considerably heavier and somewhat more co$tly than the carrier you would acquire at a vinyl supply outlet. I have found if you recover them when not in use to keep the dust off, they will last for some time and then at that point you can rejuvinate them with contact spray. Have never looked for them in Walmart.
