Yea..Is that the Cobra High Temp Ink...and if it is? Is it considered true sublimation ink and what media do you intend to print on for heat transfers? I got the Workforce 30 with pigmented CISS from Cobra last month and can't say enough regarding response time to my order and quality of product, he outperformed my expectations. Uh...I did speak to the employees down at our local UPS Center and they requested that you change your title to "Look What UPS Just Delivered" ..not "dropped off"".

Ok..Ok.. I put away my bell bottom pants for the final time today and also upgraded to SignCut Pro...Geeesh! While I didn't actually cut anything after the changes, I did a dry run through with Corel, SignCut, SignIt, and the dongle all appear to be functioning as one would expect. Thank-U Kimon

Had most recently been using SignCut PE Ver 2.16 launched from Corel X3, never felt a need to upgrade cause it wasn't broke and had all that I needed. Within the last month I lost the ability to launch SignIt X2 from Corel. Failure message is "Failed to load control 'SSTab' from Tabctl32.ocx. Your version of Tabctl32.ocx may be outdated." Upgraded this week to SignCut PE Ver 2.21 without regaining the SignIt feature, still receive the same error code. Can anyone offer any insight? Designed a text only project today in Corel X3 using Arial bold font. Converted to curves and launched to SignCut X2 as I have done many times before. SignCut acted like it didn't recognize the project and populated the SignCut default vector instead. Went back and checked the project.....without finding the cause. I can export the project as EPS and import into SignCut just fine. Have since opened other projects in Corel and launched them just fine....Why do you suppose this is occurring with this project (converted to curves) only?

Honestly I feel CorelTrace is more difficult and produces less desirable results than the free program Inkscape that you often see referred to on this forum. In any event trace with either and export as an .EPS, you should then be able to import the .EPS file into SignBlazer. My limited experience in doing this results in the colors ungrouping from the others which could be a factor if you decide to resize the object prior to cutting. See the difference in shading on your sample basketball? That's gonna be a tricky one to trace. Which leads me to ask...Is your intention to print the shaded basketball and cut an ouline (contour it) or do you really want to vectorize it and cut the resulting object colors?

Err...weren't his origins from the Freak Bros. Band (that's not quite it) back around 1974. I know I had a T with him and their logo back then...uh, where's the memory when I need it?

Thank you, appreciate the reply. I reinstalled the SignCut X2 export plugins this week to see if SignIt would now function without corruption...it doesn't. Same issuse here: http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/topic,9280.0.html I'm still at a loss as to this corruption cause. If I update to PRO...I thought I read SignIt had been dropped from this version, is that correct? Guess I'm wondering if the updare would allow me to regain SignIt? I downloaded the Pro 7 day trial about ten days ago and never got around to installing it. Probably too late for this install?

Should I wash the shirt first?
edge replied to lastfuse's topic in Clamshell Heat Press Discussion or Support
I'd be concerned that by washing it, one might be adding other agents (fabric softners, etc) to the fabric making adhesion even more difficult. -
Apparently that one file had corruption as I've been able to subsequently create an identical project without the problem when launching to SignCut X2. Have never encountered that and for it to occur without known rhyme or reason to me; is perplexing. Got my dongle the middle of the week Kimon... If I understand correctly, I just plug it in and authenticate it on the X2? and then if I do desire to upgrade to PRO....do I just download the trail and go from there or do I need to make contact with SighCut? Thanks.

MH871 and CorelDraw x4.
edge replied to nah2323's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Discussion
I have been bridging Corel X3 to a Copam the last three years Using SignCut X2. They interface well together; so well that when installed properly, one launches SignCut directly from an icon in Corel. Unfortunately US Cutter has ceased to promote SignCut...I say this because my three year license is expiring soon and when I recently contacted US Cutter, they informed me the dongle which I now wished to purchase would need to be acquired elsewhere. Soooo....I contacted Kimon from this forum and he set me up with what I needed to continue at a reasonable $. Corel X4 to my understanding interacts in a similar manner with the now SignCut Pro. -
How to contourcut with Corel X4-Illu CS3 and Signcut pro with three reg marks

Adobe 7 indicates an error report on my end when attempting to view this link........is it me or does the document have errors? -
Appreciate the suggestion....However I gotta tell you, the older I get; the less inclined I am to trying. Corel may not be the best....but right now it's the most comfortable for me and does all that I ask of it. I ordered the dongle for SignCut earlier this week.

NEED THE STEPS TO CONTOUR WITH COREL X3/SIGNCUT
edge replied to sportsnthings702's topic in General Help
With any pixelated image you will need to create a vector outline of whatever you wish to cut as a contour. Import the image into Corel goto Bitmaps>Trace Bitmap> (experiment with the choice of image tracing available). Once you have vectorized (established a curve of) the outline of that you desire to cut, then open the INTERACTIVE TOOLS flyout and click on the contour tool, select the type of contour (inside, center,OUTSIDE) establish the width of offset you desire and apply. You will probably want to right click on the contour and break it apart for cutting. You can either highlight the contour line you desire to cut prior to sending to SignCut or you could make it a unique color to isolate for cutting. True type text is a bit simpler as all one need do is right click on the text and convert to curves before contouring. You do realize to contour cut a printed pixelated image or printed text you need to identify it's location in the project with relation to registration marks to cut in the correct location? -
That is correct. While I am more inclined to use IronAll, experience with that and JPSS does show ghosting where ever one doe not cut the unused material out. I can' help but believe if you had performed a forum search you would seen that question has been answered before. (If you don't know what that's about.... I can certainly explain)

I recently used an inexpensive (less than $50) SAKAR to capture BIGFOOT ON TAPE....... Oh..myyyy.
-
I'm currently on a computer without Corel or else I'd submit an example. Make a square, convert it to curves with fill, rotate it to align with the square containing the R. Place the Rockford Logo over your square and trim....you should be left with just the R on the square you created. Delete the remainder.

Craft Robo 330L-20 Easy Question (width of vinyl help)
edge replied to gasper44's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
With my CC200 neither the Cutting Master II nor RoboCut offer a weeding line option. Does something in your software? -
That area seems most prone to salt, ice, stones, road debris and diesel fuel. How long does the end user expect the vinyl to last?

An easy method of converting .EPS to .JPEG is available with a free download of Irfanview. Import the .EPS into and save as JPEG.
-
I use Corel rather than AI..with that said. I have to convert text to curves to cut properly and I suspect you would too. There is no mention of that in your post, are you converting to curves before sending to signcut?
-
If you intend to run both from the same computer...be prepared for conflict.

If you are in a college town, we've found craigslist to be a good source for used text books. Often we'll perform a google search using title and or ISDN # to compare price.

US Cutter Introduces the ZenCut Green & Black
edge replied to Brandon_Davis's topic in Community Rules & Announcements
After performing a search on the site for ZenCut, I came up with this. http://www.uscutter.com/ZenCut-Green-Series-Vinyl-Cutter_p_1179.html Various versions of Corel appear to be the only software offered in this listing. Am I to think it will cut directly from Corel?
