I was talking to the sihl distributor up here and he sold me a roll of 3635 that he claims he sells to all the guys using waterbased inkjets like HP's and Epsons, I havent tried it out yet as my epson 2200 is still on its way but I'll update everyone tomorrow how it turns out.

Clear tape, and peel your backing paper off and reapply it leaving only the registration points with no backing, line them up with the lower layer, apply it, then hinge it back, pull the backing paper off & lay it down.

I just got home with a brand new Roland GX-24 that is currently sitting in its box in my basement, wife is gonna be home in about 40 minutes & I gotta come up with some way to explain how on earth it got there! Maybe if I dont say anything at all she wont notice it LOL!

Yeah she came home and I said "C'MON lets go down to the basement and get this dance over with!!" I held the 1 year old in my arms as a human shield LOL! She was pissed for about 10 minutes, had a smoke and a beer and now she's ok with "whatever the hell that thing is you just bought" LOL!

LOL! Yeah ive used the reverse the heat technique on her before and she's wise to it, and she hates weeding so thats out, If the bandaid one doesnt work its off to the jewelry store I think LOL!

Also squeegee the back of the decal firmly first, and pull the backing paper off at as sharp an angle as possible, those two things seem to help.

I dont know what its like down there but up here in Canada alot of auto repair shops are DYING due to all the cheap deals on new cars and ill bet there are a few places willing to rent you out a bay on a per day basis just to get some $$ coming in. One of my buddies runs a repair shop and he has a tint guy, a pinstripe guy and a paintless dent repair guy all renting spaces from him.

The only thing that upsets me about all that cricut stuff is that I didnt think about it and market it LOL!

I would squeegy parallel to the coroplast flutes, not perpendicular to them, so the squeegy can press the vinyl down into the grooves personally.

That was the STRANGEST application process I have ever seen LOL!!!!! Cool vid tho!

8 ft by 34" banners (2 of em) photo attached, Oracal 651, Bandana Banner, how much should I charge this guy?

Yeah no doubt the speed will come, but im stuck paying Canadian prices for everything from local suppliers or I get nailed hard on brokering fees from the states. The banner material I had to buy a full roll cuz APPARENTLY no one stocks black banner material in Toronto, and that was 150 plus taxes for a 24 yard roll, so call it 7 bucks a yard, about 2.40 a linear foot = 19.20 The vinyl was 1.50 a yard for 15" wide Oracal, I used about 16 yards = 24 bucks App tape, Rapid Tac 2 paper towels tape etc.... 5 bucks So by my estimation Ive got about 48 bucks in materials into each one assuming my math is right.

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAAA threads turning into a Banner Brawl LOL! Im guessing im about right at the 125 a piece mark based on most of your comments, but given that im still fairly new at this and have only done 4 banners total so far, (doing mostly vehicle stuff) how in the HECK do you do one of these banners in under an hour?!?! It took me probably 2 hours to cut weed and mask all the parts, and at LEAST 2 more hours to apply it all to the banner and I thought I was FLYING thru it as I had other stuff to do afterwards. Also my material cost was alot higher than 20 bucks per banner, i would guess more in the 40 to 50 dollar range.
