Kimon don't think I don't appreciate your dedication to your customers by working after hours and holidays because I do and I was doing the same. As far as my issue being resolved it isnt. The only advice I got from tech support was uninstall and download from the link they provided. I did and now I have more problems than I had before. Now after every cut SignCut "drops" communication with my cutter and I have to unplug and restart it, every time. Also after every cut now the kknife stays down and it did not before downloading from the new link. SignCut will now also not let me choose it as the default program to open my eps files. I also now get an error fault everytime I close SignCut and when I contacted your support I was told it was a issue with my computer. I am not trying to cut on your product because I really do like SignCut and absolutly love inkscape but I have to look at more "stable" options to run my small business. Looking to get the "dongle" version of SignCut so I can transfer my license to my new laptop and travel to car shows, fleas markets, etc. The SignCut website has nothing that I can find listed. Any ideas?

Trying to cut this for my stepson and everytime I send it to SignCut to cut the text is messed up. I have had this happen before and someone here fixed it for me. Not sure. Bent the path, sent to SignCut and some of the weeding lines in the text were gone. Very confusing to me!

My Pcut has paid for itself and I am really tired of wrestling with Signcut so I figured its time to upgrade. Looking at a Graphtec CE5000 60 but need a few questions answered please. If you had about $1500 to spend on this page, http://www.uscutter.com/Graphtec-CE5000-Series-Vinyl-Cutter_p_125.html what would you get? I have only used Signcut and Inkscape so i know nothing about any of the other software options. I LOVE Inkscape and would want to stay with something that would support .svg files. I want to get away from Signcut for various reasons. I do not need the media basket so it is not being considered. What do you guys think? I have plenty of vinyl and clipart so my main focus is software. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I understand your frustration. I sent them a support request awhile back and never heard from them then out of the blue a couple of days ago I get an email that said they found my request during an audit and noticed that I had been using the software so was the issue resolved? I mailed them back no and had to explain the problem again. Their solution was to uninstall and try to download again. I did and when tried to open it told me my license was expired (9/20/09 start date). Seems all the times I had to uninstall and reinstall the program just to get it to work used up my license. I am very behind on customer orders so I went to their website and bought a one month sub. so I could get caught up over the thanksgiving break but although they took my money (verified by CC) they have not updated my license so I am just hung out to dry until they come back from their break. I really don't understand why it has to be this difficult to get any issues resolved with them. Really frustrated over the whole ordeal and it is a shame because I really like Signcut I just wish it was a little more "stable" and reliable. What alternatives do I have besides SBE? Needed to vent, Chris

Need about one square foot of 043 Lavender. Dont want to buy a whole roll but guess i will if I have to.

Been using Shinerite since I got my cutter in September with no real issues. Been reading on here about how everybody loves Oracal so I ordered a roll of white. Opened the box and put on my cutter and there is a "wrinkle" on the roll. Unrolled a couple of feet to see it it stopped and after about five feet it didn't so I quit. This vinyl is completely unusable. Has anybody had this experience with Oracal? Would also like someone from US Cutter to contact me through the forum about what we can do about this. Thanks, Chris

Cut this file a couple of times before but now Signcut locks up every time I try to open it. Several members here have been trying to help me figure it out with no luck and Signcut wont respond to my e mails. Cant this be coverted to a simple two color, body one color, wings another, file so I can see if will open without a total meltdown of Signcut? Any help would be appreciated. Tried the file you posted tekcorps and same thing. Total system lockup. Any other cheap or free programs out there that can deal with the eps and svg format? Really like Signcut and would rather keep it cause I am used to it but cant deal with this kind of hangups.

Thanks for the info and I will try that. Been doing somemore digging and it seems all my files with more than two colors are causing it to lock. In the past twelve hours I have uninstalled and reinstalled signcut probably six times and even tried to swith to a brand new laptop with the same results.

A good friend of mine just bought a Mustang for his boys 16th bday. Want to help him make it stand out before his boy sees it. Got anything?
