no no. it's all in the workspace and the colors match. i am so baffled, it's crazy. i can design something and it will do this stuff, where it doesn't want to cut. but then go and open another SignBlazer and make the exact same thing with the sam demensions and it will be fine. i don't like signblazer very much but hey, beggers can't be choosers, huh?

Heres the cheater way that works good.. Find a LEGAL image. Google image search works well. Image search something like "Christmas tag clipart" or "gift tag clipart" (play around with words for best results) when you find the simplest and biggest one, open it all th way, then save it to your pictures. then open your signblazer program. go to FILE - IMPORT. Then find your picture, where ever you saved it. Then Import it. Now that is an unuseable form and you cutter won't cut it. So click on it, then go to IMAGE - MODE - MONOCHROME 1 BIT. and play with that scroll for best result. then hit OKAY, then go back to IMAGE - VECTORIZE and press OKAY and you now have a cuttable image. GOOD LUCK!

Okay so... i am new to this forum and forums in general so lets see if i did this right.. I made a design on signblazer. When i go to CUTTER at the top, and this is where it shows the preview of what i design and am about to cut. Well sometimes it dissappeares. It shows on the CUTTER screen that nothing is ready to cut. When i press CUT, it acts like nothing is there. When i press FINISH to go back to the design, it gives a blank page instead of snapping back to the design, an i have to press VIEW - ZOOM ALL to see what i am working on. It has did this with entire designs and sometimes HALF of words. like if i type SAWMILL RACING.. it will only show ILL RACING on the Cutter Preview Page. It seems like the CUT SELECTED ONLY button is selected, but it's not. Has this happened to anyone else? Seems like a glitch to me, is there a wa to fix?

when you vectorized it, it keeps the bitmap, and gives you the additional vectorized on the screen. did you erase the unwaned bitmap? so its just the vectorized?

listen i had this problem and it really freaked me out. its not cables or computer or anything. when you get your design finished, of course go to "CUTTER", then "CUT" then "CUT TILE" (in the pop up box) and it will say your "can not open the output device, Error initialzing the cutter" alright? click okay. go to "SETUP" (at the top) in the pop up box, go to the second choice, called "output Device" you're going to see a bunch of choices. Look specifically at the ones labeled Blazer.COM_ the "_" being a number. each on is a open USB ports in your computer. you're looking for the one label Blazer.COM_USB Serial Port. that is the port that is reading that your cutter is plugged into. In other words, the computer was reading the wrong USB port and was confused because it didn't know where the cutter was, and you just have to point it in the right direction. -Sawmill Graphics and Pinstripes.
