mmk, I'll just repost this over in the cutter section.

I don't know if this is a cutter issue or a sign blazer issue. I've searched around a bit and maybe this isn't the correct term. I have 2 stars I'm cutting. Basically it's the Dallas Cowboys star (No jokes! ). I told sign blazer to cut 2 of them. the first cut fine, the second has "broken lines." basically lines that didn't completely cut. They stopped part way through the complete cut. It's been doing this off and on for 3 days now. I'm hoping this is a sign blazer issue and not a cutter issue. I JUST changed blades btw so I know it's not a sharpness issue. I've messed with my pressure, positioning, everything I can think of... the only thing that's different in the last couple of days is that I had cut some paper (using a cricut sticky board underneath) to cut out gift box templates. I set everything back to original settings... Any ideas? TIA!

I've used SignBlazer many times sucessfully, but I've always wondered about this: I keep all my .ai and eps files in one folder and if I try import a file into SB using that folder the program has an "Error it cannot recover from", crashing then closing. If I move that one specific file out from the rest of the .eps's it will import it just fine. It's like the program doesn't like there to be more than 5 files in one folder to read. Anyone have a clue what's going on and how to fix it?

I have gone through the video and pdf tutorials of the contour cutting and still can't figure it out. I have calibrated the laser and everything. All my settings are right according to the signcut x2 video. I load the paper correctly. Then it just spits the paper out of the back after jogging and telling it to cut. It was working beautifully to pen images (I am still waiting on my vinyl shipment). Any ideas? Thanks!
