    Mustang mirror

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. The inspiration to do something like this came from this forum. A lot of awesome projects shown here.

    Mustang mirror

Haven't done much the last couple of months due to no time. Managed to work on this today since my girlfriend was at work. She has a Mustang (2004 GT) and, of course, is a Mustang lover so I thought she might enjoy it. Sandblasted everything from behind. Then masked and painted each color section. (Note: the mirrored part doesn't look shiny because it's showing the textured ceiling in my garage.) Also, the wording is centered to the horse and not the stripes.
  3. First shirt is for me (it seems like I do something different everyday to tick off my girlfriend). The second one is for her. Used Siser EasyWeed for the shirts. I really liked the font on the first one until I had to weed it. The mirror was for a guy I work with. Sandblasted the front of the mirror as it was already sealed in the frame. Took about 90 minutes to weed it.

    not bad for a newbie

Very nice! I know what you mean about "seemed like a good idea to start with". I've had a couple of those. What did you apply the vinyl to? I can't figure it out. Again, nice job!

Couple of shirts and a mirror

Yeah, I haven't had a lot of luck taking photo's of mirrors. The lettering and logo was sandblasted from the front. The rest is mirror. Thanks for the comments! I appreciate the support. That's what makes this a great forum.

    From flames to skull

Ok, I thought about what everyone suggested in regards to vectoring my girlfriends face and putting it on my truck. Ultimately, I decided I liked sleeping in our bed so I chose not to. However, I did add something to the flames to give it more of a skull look.

    From flames to skull

Thanks, guys! Dave - she has short hair so I was able to convince her it wasn't suppose to represent her.

    From flames to skull

Yes, they're jagged. Being that they were for my truck I didn't spend any time trying to smooth them out.

    Just for it's and grin's

Flames for my truck. It's an '88 GMC S-15. Truck looks like crap. Thought this would give my girlfriend something new to make fun of about my truck.

Here's a few things I've done just to try and learn what I'm doing. Have learned a lot from this forum. Thanks!

    Need opinions...

Trying to vectorize a picture from my son's wedding. This is the best I've been able to come up with. I've posted the actual picture, also, so you can see what I'm working from. Does it look ok?

    Need opinions...

Swanee, The picture I posted originally is all I have to work with currently. Sorry, I know it's not much. I appreciate your response. I guess I should have put the word "copyright" in the thread. That word seems to get a lot of opinions.

    Another newbie

Been prowling around the forum for a couple of weeks gathering as much information as I could before making a purchase. A lot of excellent information to be found. A great bunch of people here and I look forward to picking brains now and then. I really enjoy looking at all of the graphics shown in the forum. After reading as much as I could about equipment I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Epson R1900 printer and the Graphtec Craft Robo Pro. Was looking at keeping my costs down and felt these fit perfectly. Also, viewed some YouTude videos on both and was really impressed. Please feel free to critique my decision. Again, I look forward to gaining vast amounts of information off of this forum.
