I have a client who's looking to start his own clothing line, and I've been working with him on designs, just need someone who can do the work we need. Screen printed tees (about 100), embroidered hats (maybe 10?), and printed board shorts (maybe 10). I'm finishing the artwork, and can supply .EPS files for everything. Tees - Black SS tees, White and Red ink, full front side print. About 100, 2 different styles. Hats - Black Flexfit, flat bill hats, with white and red embroidery. Front 2 panels will be mostly artwork. Board Shorts - Black board shorts with white and red artwork. 1/2-3/4 printing on the right leg, 1/4 printing on the left leg, front and back. I had a local carpenter make a vinyl rack for me. Holds 36 rolls. I had to expand, but it's a very nice set up. Definitely saved space, and looks good in the office. vinyl.bmp

Wasn't too sure where to post this, but I figured here would be the best. I'm looking to start screen printing stickers, but had a few questions. I was going to use a 240 mesh screen, but didn't know if there was a special ink that I have to use, or a special procedure in doing it. I use Oracles' 651 Intermediate cast for cutting stickers, so was hoping to use the same material for the printing. I was just going to single-color print my logo on the vinyl and cut them out in squares, very basic. Or do I need to use a special vinyl as well? All help is much appreciated. Thanks, -Derrick

I wanna say that something like that would be a flash player/ HTML plater that you would have to code. I hired a company to write up a HTML player for me so that customers can select different colors on a design, and it would give them a preview and a price. (Similar to this:http://www.oakley.com/custom/gascan). The total was about $1,500 for the HTML coding, though.

I was actually trying to round the corners on a section of text.

I took an image from SB and rounded the corners on HotShot, and now my image is exactly how I need it. Only problem is I can't get the new image back into SB. Is there any way around this, or do I need to round all the corners manually in SB?? Any help is appreciated, and I'm not trying to buy a Full version of HotShot, so don't ask. Thanks. -Derrick

I ended up manually rounding the corners in SB, but if anyone has the answer to the original question, please post it, I'd like to know for future reference. Thanks.

It's already bad enough that I have to exit out of the registration boxes at the start, but now my software is trying to update itself, even though SignBlazer isn't around anymore. I tried getting into my hard drive files and deleting the update folder, but I don't wanna risks ruining something. Anyone know how I can make it so the update box doesn't pop up anymore? And better yet, so the registration boxes don't pop up either?

Seems like every time I make a post about an issue I have, I solve the problem minutes later. Problem solved, thanks.

Back to the drawing board.. New computer, and I'm having the same issue. I installed the update, which gave me SignBlazer UK, but now my Windows 7 won't let me install the patch because it's not a Win32 file. I would really like to get rid of the nag screen, but nothing's working. Please help!! Thanks.

Spent the time downloading everything onto my new computer, and it got rid of the nag screen, but it gave me a new one. The update installed SignBlazer UK, and now I have a new trial screen. My work computer has the original trail screen, but it doesn't count, and it's running on SignBlazer UK. Any ideas??

THIS VERSION IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE USING A "TRIAL VERSION" WITH NAG SCREENS AT STARTUP. and if you want to get rid of the nag screens, yes 1st uninstall what you have, then download and install sbe 6, then install the update "sbeforsw_uk02mar07setup.exe, then run the patch. bb Where can we find the sbeforsw_uk02mar07setup.exe update?? And when I try to run the patch, it won't go, because it's a RAR file, how can I get it to work?

Still not able to get it to work. Downloaded it to a disk, and ran both programs, and the trial keeps counting up.

I've been doing Vinyl work and using Sign Blazer for nearly 2 years now, so I know how to use it, draw stuff, etc. But I still consider myself a rookie when it comes to diagnosing problems. 1. I got a new laptop for work, because 2 of my work computers crashed this week. I installed everything, and it seemed like it was working fine. One problem: no new computer/ laptop has a serial port so I'm using my Pcut 630 on the USB. I was using serial on my old computers. Now my plotter will cut a couple squares, then freeze. Or it'll cut most of the squares, then cut a line diagonally through everything and freeze. So far, the USB connection has been bad. Is there a way I can connect to serial without a serial port on my laptop? I've seen converters, will a USB from my laptop to the Serial on the Cutter work? I do a lot of large jobs, either a few hundred die-cuts or large graphic kits, and I really don't want it freezing up in the middle of one of those jobs. 2. Every time I pull up Sign Blazer, the trial mode button begins counting up, and adds a number each time I start SB. I remember it doing that a few years ago when I first started using it, but I don't remember how I fixed it. Any ideas? I've removed Sign Blazer from the new computer and reinstalled it, but that didn't change anything. I have a lot of work to get caught up on, I've been without an operational computer at work for a week, and orders keep coming in, I'm really trying to get caught up ASAP. Any and all help is much appreciated. Post on here or PM me. I've been having a ton of issues lately since my computers crashed, so I've been spending hours on here each day doing research, but I still haven't found everything. Thanks.

Jay, I'm not sure which file I'm supposed to download?? I downloaded the first one, and it asks me to burn it to a disc, but I don't remember that when I downloaded the UK version before.

Long story short, I've been doing vinyl work for a little over 2 years now, and my main work computer finally gave out. I bought a new laptop, and now I can't get the installation software for my cutter to work on my new computer. When I connect the cables to the laptop, nothing happens. I'd usually expect to see pop ups of 'New Hardware Found', or something of that sort. Then when I put the disc in the tray, I see the box open up, that asks if I want to 'Copy Pictures to a Folder on my Computer', 'Print the Pictures', 'View Slideshow of the Images', 'Open Folder to View Images', or 'Take No Action'. I've been using my home computer for the past couple days so I can get some work done at the shop, but it's a bit of a hassle carrying it back and forth from work to the office, plugging it in and unplugging it. Sign Blazer was installed no problem, I just can't get my cutter connected to the laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That's it, I have the UK version on my home computer, and it doesn't do that. Cool, thanks. And I found the NT mod a couple days ago, so I got that taken care of already, thank you.

Right now everything is on carpet. What surface would be best to keep the cutter on? And I know what you mean, I get shocked almost everytime I go to open my draw, I don't think it helps that I'm on a rolling chair on carpet. I wish I knew the answer to that. They were both 2001 computers, so they've had their share of usage. Both had blue screen errors, and now they won't even turn on in safe mode.

Turns out my settings in Sign Blazer were way off. It was set for the SumbaUSB instead of the Com3 USB, and the Comm settings were all wrong too. Problem solved, thanks for the help.

That's the same one Jay gave me. I've attached a screenshot, when I click 'Download' on that file, that black box pops up and says it's downloading, and closes almost immediately when that bottom 2 lines appear, I barely got the screen shot, but this is what I'm seeing. Could I just use a serial to usb converter? Run the Serial to the cutter and the USB to my computer? Would that work, or would I still need to install the driver?

When I click install, a black box appears and says 'Installing Driver...' Then it says 'Driver Installation Process Complete, please press enter', and almost immediately disappears. I'm using Windows 7, that wouldn't be a problem, would it?
