New to the forum, but old in the sign world.

I am ready to throw my Laserpoint out the window. Got my Laserpoint last week, set it up, installed SignBlazer. When I tell it to cut, it says it is sending to cutter, but nothing happens. I have the cutter hooked up to the computer with a USB to Serial Cable, because I first had it hooked up with USB to USB, from reading all the posts, it could have been the problem. I have checked the baud rate, they match up. I have unstalled everything and reinstalled.

Can anyone help me with cutting in SignBlazer. I have my text, click on cut, check the setup, click finsih and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

I am looking for a cutter that I can contour cut printed transfer with. Also which software is best to use. I have worked for a company that used graphtec and flexi pro. I am just starting my own business and not ready to make that kind of purchase. Any advice will greatly appreciated.
