I have tried to read up on blade adjustment over the past few nights. The problem seems to be with the holder. The holder has an aluminum upper portion and a lower black plastic portion. If I adjust as instructed to have 1/2 of the blade bevel protruding from the black plastic piece it is no longer threaded onto the aluminum piece. Am I doing this right? Is it the wrong blade that is just too long for the holder? Any insight is greatly appreciated! Jon

Ken, Thank you very much for the reply and offer to swap out the holder. I have sent you an email direct. Can you tell me why it's important for so little of the blade to stick out of the holder??
