Thx Fivestar...My supplier has a month wait for the stuff..UGH I needed some this week. I checked it out but they don't have the silver I need. Has anyone ever tried the Siser VideoFlex Glitter Heat Vinyl...looks like they have it in silver. Is it similar to the glitter flex, same feel I should say.

VV,
Sorry to hear that. I'm in Ohio..are you wanting screen printed or vinyl? I do remember looking at your design. PM me if you still need them done. Hope you get your $$ back.

I would be interested in the pink.

Crowtown..thanks! Those will be much easier to edit than what I was trying to use. I will post it up once I edit it in case someone else wants them also.

Hello all. I am looking at getting some images printed on the heat transfer vinyl. Doing some shirts for a VBS and prefer to have the transfers over me just screenprinting them as there are a ton of colors and trying to keep the price down for them. Is there anyone that can give me a quote on this? I'm in Ohio and would need at least 45 maybe more. Thanks in advance!

I just did a 3 color job with Thermoflex plus on material very similar to Under armour, not the compression style shirts but a loose fit shirt. Will see how they hold up. So far no issues. Does the Eco Film have a stretch to it?

Your inks should be labeled. Also you will need someway to cure your ink either with a flash unit or conveyor dryer if using plastisol. Nice tight screens make all the difference in the world.
Good luck!

How about Brady Bunch on Fontspace.com, doesn't get more down home than the Brady's. There was SF Distant Galaxy. I like fontspace as you can preview your lettering before you waste time downloading the font. Good luck in the search. a good font makes all the difference.

I am always up late..have worked til 4:00 am on an order then got back up at 5:30 to help with a charity event. I think I do my best work in the wee hours of the night or is that morning??

Wondering what you guys would have done in this situation: I had quoted a sign job (using their old sign, removal and application of new vinyl) This was for a softball league, at $65.00. They also got 3 additional quotes. The winning quote was $15.00. There was around, using the vinyl calculator $26.00 in vinyl. Ok now here's the kicker. I am a screen printer and also do signs. Two of the signs they were going to have done I designed the logos for the shirts, and screened them. They asked me to send my artwork to the guy doing the signs so that he could do the signs. I was shocked. I also had the images cutter ready. I did not send him my artwork. The one guy had no logo so I created one. The other one I had to match and re-create. What would you guys have done?? Just curious. Thanks!

I have used the Thermoflex Xtra on the nylon bags and had no issues. The temperature is lower for that type of vinyl and the Thermoflex Xtra takes a little bit of getting used to on working with it. You have to be careful the edges stick and I peeled cold. I will post a pic of the bags I have done. So far, they have held up great! Even used it on a huge athletic duffel. Just go for it!

Has anyone used any of the Clipart DeSign USA software for images? I am needing to find some new sports images and was wondering if anyone has this software and what they think of the images? Thanks.

Thanks Cherokee, I wasn't sure on the new sign markup. I really appreciate the input as I wanted to make sure I wasn't overcharging but wasn't shortchanging myself either. Alien, I do have a heat gun as well as a vinyl off remover. Wasn't sure if the heat would damage the old sign surface as it is painted. I was able to grab a corner of the old vinyl and it started to pull up. I will post before and after pics if I get the job. Thank you both for the help! I really appreciate it.

I am trying to price a sign job, one of my first and just want to make sure I am on track. I need to price a new sign and using the old sign and reapplying vinyl. It is a 32" round sign with 3 lines of text: 1st line is 21" long x 5" High, 2nd line is 18" long x 2 1/2 inch high and 3rd line is 12 " long x 2 1/2 inches high. I will have to remove the old vinyl and reapply the new. I had figured around $71.00, based on the vinyl calculator of $26.00 for vinyl and $45 per hour with one hour of labor. Am I on track or way off base??? Also pricing out new signs using Aluminum .040 gauge and coroplast..came up with 115.76 and 88.47, I did not do any markup of the aluminum or coroplast as I wasn't sure what to charge...Help! Thanks in advance!!

HI. Well this newbie hates to not be able to figure something out...so I did finally figure it out. I got it to cut it out. The only question I have is how do you when you layer objects eliminate some of the cut lines. Say you combine an oval and a square and they overlap how do you eliminate the cut lines so that just part of the image is cut and not all of it. I figured if I removed the nodes then I would mess up the image. Hope this makes sense. Thanks so much for offering to help! Will post the image once I get them heat pressed on.
