Thanks for the tips. At least I know it can be done. I just need to take my time with the set up and mke sure my vinyl is loaded properly. Yeah if I'm off by an 1/8" in the front. 96 inches in 8 feet divied by 8 equals 12 inches. Ouch a whole foot would be lost at the end of 8'..

So I've looked through the forum but could not find any threads on this so here it is. Using my new PCUT 24", which rocks, I want to make some wall vinly cuts. I plan on doing trees for the guest room. These will probaly be 14" by 8 feet long. 8 FEET LONG! I don't see anything from the cutter restricting this. Any tips on this to make sure I'm succesful and don't waste 8 feet of final. I use sign blazer. Thanks.

Well it is a sofware problem. Still haven't got Flexi to work but did get sign blazer to work. My problem was the orgin of the cutter was on the oppisite side of the absolute orgin which the program reads. Therefore when I hit cut the cutter would not go over to the absolute orgin but rather right into the kill switch. Rookie mistake.

Unfortunitly I am away from home and the cutter so at the moment I cannot work on your suggestions directly. But I did hit the test button with no response last night. So you think its a device problem within my computer or Flexi? I also loaded and tried Signblazer but that also did not work.

Alright I have Windows XP PCUT630 FlexiStart So I have a serial port and thats the reliable source they say. Well with the included literature from UScutter and the cutter itself itt says plug in Serial cable. There are extensive directions on how to set up USB but not Serial. So the cutter turns on cuts the test square to perfection. Machine says its online. From Flexi Start I try to send something simple the blade moves to the left and then stops. I think I am just missing a step as far as setup in the program or something. I looked around on the forum and didn't find anything so here it is. Any tips would be great.
