    registration marks

I am using a creation pt630 cutter. I would like to cut numbers using two layers of vinyl. I couldn't find the font I like, so I combined two different fonts to make it and save it to signblazer. When I open it and outline the number and send it to the printer it will only show the registration mark on one color not both. The cutter shows 3 colors, I held control and clicked on it and it disappeared from the screen. Is there any way to add them after you save them to your folder? Thanks for your help.
  6. Thank you so much for that link, that is exactly one of my problems. Now if I only knew how to remove the screws that are shown in the yellow diagram, I will be on my way to replacing the carriage arm. I can't fit a screw driver behind the springs....I also looked for a way to remove the printer cover, but I don't want to break it. I didn't remove the two screws on the left front labeled "front spring guide" would this release the carriage? Thanks for helping me.
  7. yes that is the post that I was referring to. I still don't understand step 3. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday and call us cutter. Thanks anyway
  8. I just received my new carriage arm and like usual no directions. I searched the forum and only found one post and I still cannot figure it out. The post said loosen the screws that are at the end of the springs on the top of the carriage, this will allow you to pull the carriage off the track. Does the printer cover come off? I can't reach the screws behind the springs. I also have two other problems with the carriage. One roller doesn't look like it is on the track, can the rollers be adjusted? My last questions is the black tube that slides into the silver box that is connected to the arm, is it supposed to have a screw in it? If so, this could be why I am having printing problems. I have more pictures...if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

    PCUT cutting uneven

j I believe your exactly right. I checked the strip and it is cut up in the same spot that it is cutting through the vinyl. Is this easy to replace? I have searched for forum and can't find any information on this. I appreciated your info

    PCUT cutting uneven

No it hasn't. I think it has something to do with changing the blade. I tried adjusting blade holder and it seems to be working better. Thanks for trying to help me.

    PCUT cutting uneven

Dakota, I checked the rollers and they are on track...everythings looks fine. No matter where I cut, the right side of the cutter has the deeper cuts. Thanks
  12. I have the pcut 630. Using 24" oracle vinyl, I am have a problem with the blade cutting perfect at one end and cutting through the vinyl on the other. I have adjusted the offset and pressure settings. I also replaced the blade. I have searched the forum, but haven't found this problem. I read that the blade holder needs to be oiled, I've had my machine for a year and haven't done this. Any help would be appreciated.

    text question

Jay, Thank you so much for the video, this helps me out so much!!! You guys are great. After selecting the node tool, I didn't select the number itself...which makes sense now.

    text question

Jay.. I tried to use the node edit tool, but I'm new and not familiar with that. I couldn't seem to make it work, the nodes jumped out and distorted. Sar... recommending separating the letters help so that I could widen the numbers using the expand/outline and they weren't so cramped. I tried to widen each of them separately, but I couldn't get them look proportionate. So I outlined it removing overlaps, then I tried to outline it again with overlaps...I'm using two vinyl colors. There was a lot of repeated cut lines. Last night I printed out 4 large sets with two colors and was told they looked too slim, I need these tonight so If I have to settle for one color I will. I just need to keep practicing. Thanks guys I appreciated your ideas

    text question

I would like to print a 13 around 18x20 with hemi-head font. My problem is the 1 is very thin, is there any way I can widen the numbers or do I have to choose a larger font? Any help would be appreciated.
