That's cool. Yeah last time I asked anyone anything it was about powder coating when I first started. Might go to a vinyl shop and ask though. Can't hurt
-
Will do Dakota. People around here are dicks though. Never want to show anyone anything. So doing alot of reading, video and tutorial watching. When I get my program from roland. Guess it will be trial and error.
-
Roland is sending me the program. Not sure what one it is. I have Corel draw x6, sure cuts, sign blazer and a few other programs as well I been using to create stencils for my plotter
-
Haha Dakota. Only things I seem laminated were on both sides.
-
How can u laminate them if you still need the bottom exposed to use the adhesive ?
-
How do u laminate but it still exposes the bottom?
-
Dakota u are the man hahaha gonna make sure I got everything good before I buy that. Don't want to practice in that material hahaha.
-
Ok thanks Dakota. Who all sells it ?3m, oracal?
-
Damnnnn mopar. Exactly what I'm trying to do. What kind of printer do u have? Also the program and procedure. That looks really good bro
-
That's nice. What program did u creat it with?
-
Dakota. I was wondering about making decals. Like for my dirtbike. What vinyl would I have to buy ? And also what's the best top covers I could get to preserve the ink?
-
Yeah I just used a little piece of vinyl. Red was what I found so I tested on that
-
Ok. I should test on white then? Used red and the black is really dark. Can't see the others that well. It was red oracke
-
Dakota on a test print should it print clear across the vinyl sheet? It only prints a small amount but it's very detailed like on the Manual pic.
-
Got it Dakota. On the part where the blade for shearing is there is a small lever. It is marked with a green sticker. The up position is position 2 for thicker material, the lower is position 1 for thinner stuff. Thanks for responding.
-
There just for screws I just looked
-
Yeah it's right on them. Don't see and space at all. I even shined a light in there. On the bottom of the roller where the lines and everything's located behind there are two plastic dials. But I didn't move them
-
Yeah it's in park. It's right above the sponges where it starts off at. Just saying lower heads.
-
Just purchased the fj-600 was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the drivers. Tried roland.com but there wasn't a link for them. Want to get it up and running ASAP. Thanks in advanced.
-
Just looked in a bag I got with the printer. There are cleaning solution cartridges. Where do these go? There's no label on the cartridges saying what type but I'm almost positive it is the general ink ran in them before being converted to the weather resistant stuff.
-
Yeah I was just reading that. Here's a thing on cleaning http://www.americaninkjetsystems.com/Unclogging_print_head_nozzles.html thanks for the heads up
-
Ok I'll make sure of that. What just turn it on and let it do the cycles? I did that the day I got it and everything was moving fine. What happens ? Does the old ink build up in it and dry?
-
So look up the software for the 540? What's the head cycles do for it. ?
-
Yeah I do. I have Corel draw, sign blazer , versa works , and a few others. The kid I got it off just couldn't find the disk for the drivers.
-
Ok thank you guys. Mark I will look into that. Is versa works just a printing software?
