I just got a good deal on a laser point,I tried to set it up on my laptop I use for my mk-870. But for some reason it won't cut. I have tried the USB port and the parallel both. The USB will not make the sound when the device is turned on. But the parallel does. Any suggestions ? It does do the test cut , rolls back and forth and everything. I had given a U.S. Cutter rep remote access but we ran out of time before I had to go to work. I was thinking about deleting the software and starting over with the laser point being my initial device. I'm using windows 8 but also have vista on the 2 work laptops and desktop

Took the side casing off the laser point today. There was a ground disconnected. I found a article on holding the red switch down to factory reset and it worked for a guy. When I use the serial to USB , it recognizes , I hear the sound and it says "was sent to cutter" but don't cut. When it's just the USB. I get nothing at all , it says connect the cutter. So I'm gonna try the reset , fresh drivers and reinstalling the sure cuts a lot. Trying to advoid the mother board replacement. I'm gonna have a closer look to see if everything's connected where it should be.

Here's a few random things I've done. A water bottle for a friend , coozie sample and a shirt I made using my dogs photo. Just bought a new heat press , mug press and a bigger cutter. Still rearranging things to get them setup. Let me know what you guys think.

Lol yeah right. Has anyone messed with Corel doing the silhouettes themselves too?

I just came across a hp 130. Was wondering if anyone has tried it with vinyl printing. Using a ciss system with the correct ink ? I know some heat tranfer vinyl you can print onto. But has anyone tried it ? I do have a roll and will when I get it all setup.

Them were the first things I tried. Nothing. The one area is grey and you can't click it.

I'm trying to do a head cleaning on my printer. I'm using Corel. But I can't find anywhere that has the utilities for it. My wf 1100 is right in the printing screen. Anyone have a idea. Or know a utility I can use

Yeah I tried. It's weird. I have a rockkey that came with it. My laptop recognizes that 2. I was thinking maybe a motherboard issue.

The laptop I tried on is running vista.

I just replaced the motherboard on my mh871. After I installed it and turned it in. I tried a cut. The blade was lowered while jogging but raised up while cutting. As soon as it's done cutting it drops back down. Was wondering if the settings would cause this. I have the baud rate at 9600 and the up speed at 800. Also I noticed the machine is running a lot faster then before.

Yeah I have been looking actually. There was one on Craigslist. But I never got a reply. Going to continue to look.
