I saw a sticky on here about setting your blade depth and pressure but am unable to find it. I have an LP 24". Any advice? Thanks!

I just recieved my 24" LP. Hooked it all up and ran some test cuts. The "cutter head" has a circuit board on top that rubs the top cover and causes it to bind up and make crazy noises. If I run it with the cover flipped up, I have no issues? Is this normal? I hate to spend $400 on something and it not work like it is supposed to.

I just recieved my LP 24" today from US Cutter. I plan on installing the software (SBE) and getting it all set up this week in my free time. My question is this: Is there anything that I need to know or is there any advice you guys can give a new guy? Also, do you all use any specifi clipart or font programs? Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated for the new guy.

I'm not going to be much help for art for that but make sure to put the standard "stop" and "stay back" lettering on it to keep the kiddies safe from traffic.

I have a job and do not even have my cuttuer yet. A friend wants me to do an ice cream truck for him. I have a complete blank canvas (van) to work with. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

All i did was contact my state and had to get:
sales and use tax license
business license
register a business name
contact the town to get approval to run a home business
What type of business license did you have to get?

I used to have my own lawncare bussiness so I know the basics. What do you all do as far as business license? Anything? I am planning on just doing small stuff but I have a feeling it will grow.

Your other option is to get the laser point cutter and get some waterproof Vinyl. I use papilio waterproof vinyl with a gloss overlaminate. I print on it and then stick it in the cutter. And you have decals. All said and done about 400 bucks in machines.

I cannot afford a graphtec right now. I also have leaned away from contour cutting (maybe in the future). This is what I have narrowed it down to. Which would you recommend and why? http://www.uscutter.com/view_cart.asp
Also, should I get the Sign Blazer or Sign Cut software?

I was informed that the refine line does not do contour cutting. I did some research and think that this may be something that I would like to do in the future.
