I'm trying to expand and start doing team custom items and found that my supplier offers a free website branded with my logo. So I'm working on the content but am not sure about pricing, should I include it? Most sites of this type that I have seen don't have any prices so I'm guessing that's the way to go but wanted to check here before I commit... Thanks Di

Thanks - I checked and my supplier has both so I'll try them both out. I did notice on the Bella it said ribbed and from doing heat press for so long I usually avoid that - is that a non-issue with vinyl? I didn't even think of that, lot's of shirts I ruled out because of the rib - it would be nice to be able to use them!

Make the white part transparent - I don't know how to do it in Corel, but in GIMP you add transparency to it and select/edit/clear.
-
You can put the whole thing in an oval or shape and add color to it. Prior to using the vinyl cutter I only did transfers - I cut a LOT of ovals, rounded rectangles, circles - any shape I could use with opaques to cover the white.

Those are great shirts! Gildan has has the 64000L which looks virtually the same...but the sleeves on the Bella are much better IMO. I'm curious, what's different on the sleeves? And do you know if the 64000L is the one I referenced above? Thanks

I'm not sure if its the same as 64000, but the Gildan / Soft Style / Ring spun was used on the Corona tour shirts last year and they are super soft and comfy. I always liked a more structured fabric, but after wearing this one I'm a fan.

Layout changes orientation when sent to cutter

That was it - thanks Jay! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Di -
Help! When start out and do the work space set up I put in height 15, length 36, and arrange what I want to cut. But, when I go to the cutter it changes it to vertical orientation and half of it is out of the area. I tried changing to portrait to see if that did anything but it doesn't - can anyone help? Thanks! Di

Ok, I'm confused...as usual. I wanted to make some window decals of my logo, but I'm not sure how to cut them. I've always gotten them where you put them on the inside of the window facing out. So...I cut it mirrored and weeded it, then thought I'd put the clear tape on it to apply. Is that correct, or do most people put them on the outside of the window? Thanks Di

Will do - thanks for the speedy reply.

Here's what we got in Moorestown, NJ - thank heaven for neighbors with snow blowers!

Hello, sorry I'm sure this is probably up here but I couldn't find it in a search. I'm trying to do vertical text and the spacing between letters is too much. So, I split the text and was lining them up closer but now it doesn't want to center the individual letters & I'm getting crazy. Am I missing a spacing setting somewhere? Thanks! Di

Jay I'm sure you get this a lot but...you rock! Thanks and if I don't chat with your before have a great holiday!!

I was weeding some really small letters today and using my sewing pins and they work great. They puncture the plastic easily and you can thread them (keep them on the pin) if you want to as you go along. I use the magnetic straight pins with the large colored plastic heads for weeding as well as separating my opaque transfers since sometimes they separate easy and other times not so much. Hopefully I posted this in the right place and someone will find it useful : ) Di

Hello, I'm having trouble when I go to cut - I get the hourglass and eventually not responding. So I'm having to quit and start the program over, only to have the size be wrong and messing it up anyway. I'm using siser that has holes in the sides so I set for 14 inches and starting point inside the holes and the preview is fine, but when it cuts its way bigger. I'm sure I have something set wrong but I don't know what - any suggestions? Not a clue on the not responding issue, never had that before - thanks for any help! Di

Thanks all, just got off the phone with Levi and cutting now. Learned a few things - one not to use space saver in the settings and two (can't think of the term) but advancing the vinyl to make sure I'm lined up right. Most likely the not responding issue was from hitting the kill switch since it seems fine now. Thanks again!!

Great stuff! Are the towels done with vinyl? Di

Love it! Mine would have to be crack in a can...aka Diet Rock Star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From what I've read the main thing with transfers is the durabrite ink, so I think it would be fine. I hadn't really thought about doing stickers so that's an added bonus - giddyup!
-
Thanks for the link, I may just have to pick one of them up. My trusty C88 that I've done transfers with for years kicked over the summer so I bought a cheap epson that used durabrite inks to finish what I was working on. This looks like a good upgrade for me - thanks again!

I just picked up a couple men's Starter shirts, label says Men's athletic Dri-Star, the neck label says 100% Repreve recycled polyester. I want to put my logo on with Siser EW, which says use on polyester so am I ok using it on these shirts? Sorry if I'm answering my own question, but I just can't imagine cotton and this fabric working the same - I feel like its going to melt or something. Thanks, Di

My latest project is putting VolleyChick.com on some score flippers like this: http://www.amazon.com/Score-Flipper-Keep/dp/B0000TWKF4/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_3. It says heavy duty plastic but it feels like metal so I want to be sure I use the right stuff. My other question is for sport duffel bags, is there a vinyl that doesn't have to be heat pressed that can be used? Between the pockets and zippers it would be difficult to get the bag into the press so I'm stumped.... Thanks much!! Di

Thanks much and I definitely like the car idea Jay!!
