    Rubbing alcohol on product

After it dried, the premask came off, I put more on, applied the vinyl with no problems. Thanks for your input. We'll see if it's there in a year or two! ed
  3. Oh Boy, I have vinyl ready to apply(Oracal 651), with transferrite 1301 applied, my dog bumped the table & spilled rubbing alcohol on it! After it dries is it good to go, or do I need to recut the vinyl?

    3 layers on a magnet

Hi everyone, I've done a few 1 color & 2 color, not layered vinyl magnets for trucks, I now have someone who wants 3 colors, and all 3 will overlap at different points. Some text will go from the magnet, to a first layer, then to a second layer, than back to no layer. Is this a good idea? It is only 3 magnets, either 12x18 or 18x24. What do you think? ed
  7. Hi everyone, I have a prospect that is interested in a 10'H x 20'W banner with some text and graphics to use as a backdrop for a band. It may be used outdoors at festivals. I ballparked it at over $1100. I can't read this guy, he does not speak good English. Without going to far into it, what would the blank white banner cost me? Something that size, would it be 16oz? I looked at my usual website stops, but came up blank. I don't think this will develop into anything, but wanted to get the guy a couple answers based on knowledge, experience etc., not just shooting from the hip. Thanks ed

    Banner quality

I'm doing a first time banner for myself, advertising me, for novelty signs at flea markets, dog shows etc. It needs to be outside worthy. I have Oracal 651 in stock for the graphics. What quality of banner do I need? Do I need different vinyl? Thanks a bunch ed

    Gerber Tempo 600

That is definitely an option I am considering. The Omega software included in the Gerber price is supposed to be very worthwhile, so I was considering it. Just looking for as much info as I can before making a choice. Thanks for getting back to me. Ed

    Gerber Tempo 600

Hi Everyone, I'm looking for a cutter to do novelty signs like "Dan's Room" or "My Dog Can Do "THis or That"" on aluminum blanks of various sizes, with a silloutte of whatever. I first thought of the Graphtec Robo Pro, but thought the future applications for this cutter is limited. Now I am looking at a 24", which is probably to big for what I need now, but I can grow into it. I will be doing flea markets, Mall kiosks, etc. I can do a Gerber Tempo 600 for $1995, which comes with Gerber Omega 3.0 software. I have not seen any Gerber threads on here to know anything but what the salesguy is telling me about this cutter. Is this a solid cutter? It says it is based on "Graphtec CE-series Engineering class technology". Are they affiliated? Thanks in advance! Ed
