Very nice work Acehole.

It's a nice start. I wish you good luck with Dreamweaver, you'll need it.

Anything looks better with reflective vinyl. hahaa I'm just getting started. I haven't purchased any reflective. It is hard to clean stuff up in Signblazer. Node Edit was the only tool I used on this one. I just moved each node around to where I wanted it. Erased a ton of nodes that I didn't want. It's also nice to have an extra person look at your work, while your making it. They can always offer valueable information, or notice some things you may have missed.

Thanks Everyone! Yes, it is a two color decal. Why in the world would you ever leave Wilmington for Fayettevile?

What is a good tape to use for wet application? I have some Clear R-Tape. It doesn't seem to like the wet method.

Nice work man. That's a pretty good first decal.

Seriously? Won't that leave a film on you vinyl....making it hard for the tape to stick

Thanks a lot teddy. This decal was for my mother in law, so it was a freebie. I spent four or five hours on it. I'm not sure what I would charge someone. I guess it just depends on how long it takes you to design it. I could have taken less time to design it, but I wanted it to look really good. It was my first dog. I'm sure the next one won't take as long. The picture wasn't the best to work with. With a better picture, I could probably get it done within three hours. I would probably charge $30 for the first decal, and regular price if they wanted more. You can only charge whatever your customers are willing to pay.

Just because there site doesn't show it, doesn't mean they still don't offer the samples. I contacted them by phone, but it's the weekend. I guess we'll see what happens on Monday. I'll let you guys know if it works.

Yeah, 651 seems to be the standard for most decal artist.

They sure do clutter things up. Is there a way to stop Signblazer from producing them?
-
I have the same problem sometimes. Working from home, isn't the cleanest place to make decals. Someone makes a static free application tape. I haven't tried any of it yet.

Thanks! I just put the dogs picture(top left pic) into Inkskape. Then traced it out, so it looked like.... Then I put it into Signblazer to finish it up. I didn't use any filters or anything.

Nice helmet, now lets see what the bike looks like.

I normally line up all of the objects in my design. Just as they would appear when there finished. Then I make two squares (registration marks) above the design. Make it the same color as the bottom layer of the design. Select align then group the two squares together. Select them then copy and paste. Then select the color of your second layer. Paste them one more time then select your third color. Cutme's way is pretty good, but this method should be a little faster for ya.

You say it's three color, but you only mention black and red. I found a video on youtube that should help you out. Make sure you make at least two registration marks, so you can line it up.

I'm not having any luck either. Bob, Is there a certain driver we need to cut with Illustrator? I'm dying to find another program to cut with. Signblazer has got to be one of the buggiest programs I have ever used. Thanks
